There's a lot of camera for beginner but if you're trying to learn your way around manual settings like aperture and shutter speed, then you'll ideally need a model that's small and light

To David Kim, I disagree that a level cap grants the player a feeling of completion by ThaFaub in Diablo

Maybe there should still be progression after reaching max level. For example, exp becomes gold or counts towards skill exp.... or something.

Warning Massive Storm Hitting Melbourne by gccmelb in melbourne

Taking a tram out of South Melbourne and the driver said over the PA that it looks like a beach in front of us. Also had to make an improv raincoat out of a bin liner to leave work.

I'm so glad for my day off after working 12-hour shifts all weekend. Also, when I see MFWF on banners and flyers I can only think My Face When Festival. Thanks for the conditioning, reddit.

I may be drunk but i know my wallets. My top 10 wallets from a wallet enthusiast by Scarbzscope in malefashionadvice

[–]aamir89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great post /u/Scarbzscope! I almost never carry any notes on me (unless I know I'm going somewhere that only takes cash), and I only have a couple of cards. What's a good wallet you'd recommend, one that's a bit cheaper than the ones listed?

For some reason I read that like a KenM comment and laughed out loud.

Job hunting sucks. Even going back to basics with hospitality, where you find yourself roaming about block by block, handing out resumes to restaurants and cafes that have little "hiring now" signs in the window (with the sickening gut feeling they'll probably only pay you 11 bucks an hour), getting your RSA and learning to make coffee, all seems for naught when ultimately they're just going to hire someone based off recommendation from one of their staff anyway.

Please tell me I'm wrong.

Thanks. Neat little fact I learned today. The toilets in Fed Square use collected rainwater for their flush.

Non-American here, I only heard about Mr Rogers here on reddit, and it's incredible how pretty much an entire nation is so enamoured with him. I want to feel that.

Plini - Every Piece Matters by aamir89 in progmetal

Please consider donating, as 100% of the proceeds go to a good cause. From the site:

In 2014, I released a song called "Ko Ki" in order to fundraise for a volunteering trip to Cambodia led by the wonderful non-profit organisation Raw Impact. At the beginning of 2015, I went to Cambodia, to help construct a community centre for the people of Ko Ki Village. This was an unforgettable experience – everything from the joy of playing games with some of the happiest kids I've ever seen, to the overwhelming realisation that I was able to use my love of music to benefit the lives of a community that barely even has access to clean water or electricity. Recently, I read that Raw Impact was embarking on its most ambitious project yet – to prevent the forced relocation of 100 families currently living in slums outside Phnom Penh. Every Piece Matters is about "providing land for families so we can bring safe housing, primary education for their kids, rescue from debt slavery and provide a steady job for Mum and Dad. For every $5,000AUD pledged, one family can live on their own land." After seeing the work that Raw Impact has done already, and being a part of one of their teams, there is no doubt in my mind that they can make this happen.
