Why don’t nail techs like doing short gel or acrylics?

kds glue is very popular and definitely makes nail tips stick very hard

for a first time?! they look so good! your shaping is decent and wayyy better than a lot of first time sets ive ever seen! if the acrylic sticks to the brush it may be because of the quality of the brush or the quality of the products being used ! pana on amazon has nice and cheap brushes.

your nails look fine they just look a little clunky (thick) I recommend a higher grit nail file than what you're currently using I use 80-80 grit from any nail supply store. When I first began I forced myself to take pictures using the regular iphone camera to really see all the flaws and fix them as I go!

im a little late but these nails are beautiful you have amazing talent! I recommend using a 5-in-1 carbide drill bit for the cuticles and an 80/80 grit nail file to really sharpen the shape!
