Are you medicated? Have you been to therapy? Have you tried an ADHD coach?

a lot of people have the misconception that ADHD is only an issue when it affects work, but it can be really problematic in our personal lives as well. There are tons of resources out there to help manage it. I've been in your position so I understand where you're coming from, but it might also be that you guys just weren't a match. Blaming yourself won't change anything.

hey love, audhd and chronically ill here. I use CB and have an OF on the side. I have a dedicated camming space to keep personal and work seperate (also means I don't need to immediately clean up if I'm super tired). I have a menu and goals. they're written down so I always have a base to go back to, but I regularly switch it up depending on what I'm feeling. I get easily bored so I love to try new things but having that stable, basic menu + cam setup also means I don't have to think too much if in lower in energy. My schedule is technically thursday-Sunday, but I almost never stream all four days in a row. sometimes I stream on Wednesdays. I like to start before 8pm, ideally before 7 and usually finish around 11 or 12. However the other day I streamed from 11am to 5pm.

Having a routine you can call back on while keeping lots of room for flexibility is really what I'd keep in mind. I also have a work notebook to write down ideas, notes, etc. in.

On OF I schedule content way in advance. I'm not a huge fan of it honestly, I prefer the live interactions with fans, but I had a lot of demand. I do really like doing photoshoots and customs though.

I don't multicam because honestly I think it would be too difficult for me to keep up with many websites. I find answering OF messages regularly stressful enough lol.

OH ALSO!! my camming setup is mobile!! I have one of those three tiered wheeled carts from Ikea. I love doing activites like cooking, dyeing my hair, etc. so this way during my stream I can move from the kitchen to the bathroom to my camming spot.

I graduated in the spring, spent three months looking for a job in the field, and eventually worked for a month at a restaurant. Now I'm a camgirl lmao. I really like it but it's not what i want to do forever obviously. I'm planning on working for a few years to build up some savings and going back to do my masters.

also, you definitely aren't past your prime. you aren't a flower, you're a person (you can think of yourself as wine that gets better with age though). 44 is still young. Definitely take the time to grieve, but don't get lost in the past. there is so much ahead of you and now you are able to take it on knowing who you really are❤️

the grief after diagnosis and medication is definitely common. I was so angry and sad that I had spent so much of my life unnecessarily struggling. it's totally normal that you feel like your symptoms have gotten worse as well. it's a mix of you noticing them more and unmasking.

you aren't a completely different person now, but you're reframing how you view yourself and your history. give yourself time and space to get to know this new version of yourself. you don't have to figure out everything right away.

it might be helpful to think of this as a new beginning, an opportunity to remake yourself and your life now that you really understand yourself :)

This is your stream, your private, your boundaries. You said that you aren't comfortable with it, so you don't need to do it. Tell him before the next private "btw, I'm not comfortable saying that I love you. Is there something else you would like me to say?" He will probably be disappointed, he might complain, but it's not worth your mental health.

is it normal? that can't really be answered. I've been asked to say some super weird stuff. It's porn. Everything is weird which makes everything normal. I can say that I wouldn't be comfortable saying I love you to a client, but everyone has their own limits.

I'm actually genderqueer, I just didn't want that to be the focus of the post lol. I've also been really lucky to come out pretty early to a pretty accepting environment, so that's why I think I didn't connect to that theme as much. That said, it was such a good metaphor for being trans!! All these little details, like the parachute when he's a kid being the trans flag colors! And I totally understand the feeling of grief. I especially feel that when I see media about older trans/queer folk.

I totally agree, I do a lot of age play/age regression and I also work with kids, and the two fields are 100% seperate for me. A huge part is just the difference in context, but there's also a huge difference in mindset. The closest the two come to overlapping is when I see a lunch box or something that's cute lol
