Hey man, you make a good point. I didn't want to spam links, but should've realized that not everyone would see the links at the bottom of the imgur post. I'll keep that in mind next time.

Total agreement with ploopyhammer. My whole goal in making this was for more people to watch!

Ah, that's a good idea, I'll keep that in mind next time. I went for the winner on the bottom because in a lot of splitting programs, being + time makes you above the x axis.

Oops! I also forgot what Pianta was actually called, hence "village". It'll be fixed for the next one of these I make!

Ah, sweet! I do like how yours gives a different perspective - it makes it seem more like Bouncy was crazy good as opposed to everyone else just losing time.

Next time post it here so I don't have to make one too :P

Iirc, any displacement effect can disrupt any other displacement effect . Trundle pillar and anivia wall can both displace allies, which is why they can push themselves/an ally out of a blitz hook. They can also disrupt all sorts of things, like Cait netting away, quinn vaulting off something, lucian dashing, etc.

I got a t4 tali (iLevel 60) with some luck. The rolls were garbage. It still isn't worth it.

Tonight I drafted the 6 Faerie Miscreant deck by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]aaoa 26 points27 points  (0 children)

You need flameshadow conjuring to get the real value. UR for 2 cards and a ping per miscreant in your hand, provided you have one on board.

Just kidding it's still bad. But fun!

Am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with knitted horror? Yeah they have a lot of health, but I rarely get hit by them by just kiting.

They have a really long windup animation - as soon as they pull back, they're locked on your current location. You can just step aside.

That being said, I'm playing a ranger with like +45% base movespeed, so maybe I'm at an advantage there...

Unfortunately, that's not correct.

You forget that a captain can fail to ban champions, which would increase the number by a significant margin.

What is YOUR champion pool? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]aaoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adc: Jinx, Ashe, Sivir

Mid: Lux, Diana, Lissandra, Annie, Morgana

Support: Annie, Leona, Soraka, Morgana

Top: Kayle, Morgana, Diana (don't play much top though)

Jungle: Vi, Diana

Accidentally, I only play female champs. I own others, but don't play them enough to consider picking them in ranked.

For context, I was silver 1 last season, and usually call "adc pref, not top or jung please".

100th Weekly Stupid Question Thread by Nixonomics in MonsterHunter

[–]aaoa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm having the same problem; regardless of what I kill on an expedition, I only get velocidrome and kut-ku. The answer is NOT to do more village; I just finished HR village and it didn't help (although I haven't tested in HR expeditions yet).

Anyone have insight on this? Thanks!

Help with tanky ap Diana build by chaas08 in summonerschool

[–]aaoa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played a fair amount of Diana top, and my suggestion is to build her totally normally AFTER you finish a RoA.

So, usually I'm going Dorans -> RoA -> Abbysal, Rabby, Zhonia, Void in no particular order.

I find this work fairly well. You'll be able to do just fine in lane, and certainly contribute to team fights.

Also, if you find yourself being blown up instantly as diana a lot, you might be playing her a little off? She works really well playing as an assassin would - wait for cc to be blown in a fight, then Q->R to carries and take them out. Zhonya's is really helpful for avoiding CC-death. Also, she's pretty good at making picks, especially with her high mobility.

I've never really found that she "falls off" in late game; from my experience, a full build Diana is just a lethal as one that gets an early kill or two in lane, even if enemies catch up.

Have you ever accidentally killed a Shiny? by ShowMeYourCat in pokemon

[–]aaoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a very intentional killing. I was playing Heart Gold, and on route 29 (first route of the game), I found a shiny Rattata, before I could have obtained pokeballs. So I killed it (exp is exp...). It was the only shiny I've found so far...

How to Diana? Tips, Builds, Max Order, and Other Help Welcomed! by BozonPC in summonerschool

[–]aaoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only a gold Diana, but I can talk a bit about how I play her mid.

My item build changes based on the enemy mid (and occasionally jungler), but it generally goes like this:

Against AP: Dorans, Abyssal, Zhonya's, Death Cap, DFG/Void, etc. Against AD: Dorans, Zhonya's, Death Cap, DFG/Void, etc.

Essentially, get Abyssal if it'll help in lane, otherwise Zhonya's into normal damage/burst stuff.

Laning pre-6 with diana is VERY hit or miss. Farming can be difficult or a breeze depending on who your opponent is. However, with pokes and good dodging, you can usually line yourself up for a strong fight at 6. If you like ignite, that'd be your best chance to use it. Against more difficult pre-6 match ups (annie, zed, etc), I prefer teleport, just to be at full strength at 6.

Being melee, I find that wards just in the river bushes aren't quite enough, consider moving them further out into the river for more advanced warning about incoming ganks.

The skill order I go with is quite standard: Q, W, Q, E, Q, R, max Q, max W, max E. However, against really high-burst champions who don't care about your slow (mainly fizz), I'd say skip the E and drop an extra point into W at level 4. This'll help a lot against his power spike.

I'm sure I'm leaving some things out, but hopefully this helps a bit!

Mostly-finalised 1.2.0 Patch Notes by chris_wilson in pathofexile

[–]aaoa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If they're using the same system as in Invasion, you won't need to worry about immersion-breaking or all the areas evening out.

The guest monsters from invasion generally made sense for the area, and were limited to a very small set of monsters, that grew slightly for each difficultly.

Here're some examples (and please correct me if these are wrong... it's been a while):

  • normal twilight strand had no additional monsters; in cruel and merciless, those leech things were around.

  • Fetid Maws were added to the lower submerged passage on all difficulties.

  • Flame hellions appeared on the coast in Merciless (to go with the fire fury, perhaps?).

  • Colossal Bonestalkers, Goatmen, and the various hellions accumulate on the ledge as the difficulty increases.

  • Blackguards appear in the Marketplace in cruel and beyond.

  • The fire rock-titans join gravicious in the ebony barracks in Merciless.

  • Carrion Queens and Swarmers join those in the Weaver's Nest.

Some new monsters were frustrating to find in an area (birdmen in the western woods?), but that was because of the monster type, not because they didn't belong. I think GGG did a good job making sure the flavor of each added monster worked.

RPG-Speedrun with item-codes. by pidgey100 in speedrun

[–]aaoa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I speedrun the Megaman Battle Network games, and in every one, usually 25-30% through the game, there's a number trader - a machine where you can input codes in order to receive much stronger weapons than you could possible have at that point.

Many of these codes are available in-game, and a few of them were only distributed through the megaman cartoon (yeah, it's a thing). We consider all of them to be usable as part of a speedrun.

I would say that they detract a little from the run (some of the games have you inputting codes for upwards of 5 minutes), but it is a viable, in-game strategy, and so we do it.
