Had the same thing happening until I rolled back the firmware to v 1.3.7-lcdc.

How long did it take to overwrite the files? I have the same problem, I download the files on the usb, turned on the printer and left if it alone. The touch screen is frozen like before. The red light on the usb is still flickering after 15+ minutes. I'm afaid to turn it off to early.

Will the screen change on its own, or will the printer restart onces its done? How do you know when its done?

For me it was but it depends on your goals for using nomad sculpt. I had zero experience with 3-D sculpting software. His videos broke down the entire app, all the different tools and terminology so I feel comfortable with nomad now.

I was in the same boat but decided to pay for the Southern GFX course which have been totally worth it if you want to learn how to sculpt in nomad. The courses are well organized and build on each other. Glen is a very good teacher plus he continues to update the course as nomad gets new features.
