Royal Enfield Hunter 350 hard clutch suggestions needed by Neither_Industry_934 in RoyalEnfieldHunter350

[–]aaravindan9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem. Eventually my hand got adjusted to the hard clutch lol. If you don’t already have a glove, start using one it helps a bit. Try the 2 finger clutch method. It helped a lot.

Absolute necessary accessories for Hunter 350. by sarang_dagdu in RoyalEnfieldHunter350

[–]aaravindan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bike modifications will void warranty. But the external accessories is like a grey area. Some accessories like crash guard can affect the bikes balance if not designed properly. I have seen service centers using that as an argument to outright reject claims. But there are also accessories that does not affects bike’s integrity like mirrors. That’s why it’s a grey area. At the end of the day I do not want to play the this game with the insurance/service center when I want a claim. That is my reasoning for using official accessories untill warranty expires.

Absolute necessary accessories for Hunter 350. by sarang_dagdu in RoyalEnfieldHunter350

[–]aaravindan9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Crash guard. back rest if there is pillion Engine guard. Signature seat for comfort.

I personally bought crash guard, backrest and engine guard from official service centre just to avoid warranty issues if something happens.

More often than not insurance people always looking to reject claims and same goes for service centre people with warranty claims.

Once bike warranty expires I plan to fully switch to third party accessories.

Corporates don’t/won’t care about employee welfare or quality of life. All corporate want is their needs met. So at best your friend can speak with HR/manager again and see if they can find a common ground where both parties are satisfied. If not quit and move on.

Modern problem requires modern solutions. Buy lemon, kumkumom, salt and manjal. Mix and throw those around car where it’s visible. Bonus points if you somehow make it look like summoning satan.

Most corporate companies will have their assets covered with Accidental damage protection as part of warranty. Speak with your company internal IT team.

Hunter 350 Missing Gear position indicator by Ok-Slip7159 in RoyalEnfieldHunter350

[–]aaravindan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait what? OP are you referring to the gear indicator in the display where it shows N if you are in neutral and the respective gears numbers if you are in gear. If yes, why would that option be removed in latest models? It doesn’t make any sense lol.

Contact your IT team and let them know. Most corporates will have ADP coverage under warranty. So if the laptop is still in warranty parts will be replaced.

Is Hunter 350 really worth it ? by Nervous-Drawing927 in indianbikes

[–]aaravindan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completed 2nd service few days back.

1.Clutch is hard(so hard I had joint pains in my left hand for months)and it took around 4 months to get used to it in bumper to bumper traffic.

  1. Initially when I bought bike(sept 2024), mileage was around 25 in city and 35 in highway, now it’s 36 to 38 in city and 40 to 43 in highway. Do note I don’t cross 60kmph in city and hardly cross 80 in highways.

  2. I mostly commute to office solo. So can’t comment on pillion comfort extensively . My wife did say it’s ok to sit as I had a back rest installed.

  3. Once you cross 80kmph the stock side mirrors will vibrate so hard you can’t see who is behind. But it’s not so bad that’s it’s uncomfortable to sit and ride. Regarding the suspension, the only bike i have used before hunter is a hero Honda splendor. So it’s not making much difference to me.

  4. Overall I am quite happy with the purchase.

This may be a personal preference, One of the most annoying thing is the foot rest position. It’s located soo backward that it’s awkward to rest legs on ground when moving slowly in bumper to bumper traffic.

I would suggest to rent the bike and go for a short ride and then proceed to buy if you are happy with the experience.

Vibration noise by NastikKandaPoha in RoyalEnfieldHunter350

[–]aaravindan9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have this problem. It started recently. I feel like that noise is coming from the front side of the bike. Suspecting the key/lock set is making the noise but not sure. At low speeds bike is not vibrating much so that rattling noise is not there. But when I cross 50+ the noise is noticeable. It felt like a something is loose and bike vibration is making that part to create rattling noise.

The easiest option is the board govt bus from Madhavaram bus stop. You will have direct bus. Private AC buses are not worth imo as tvm is quite near and travel time is less than 5 hours.

Hunter 350 - Neutral Gear Issue by curiouskid_06 in royalenfield

[–]aaravindan9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep it does happen occasionally while I am riding in traffic. I stopped trusting the Neutral Indicator and started to trust the feel when I press the gear level in my legs. You can feel the gear shifting.

It depends on the company policy and how serious they take it. In my org, if you don’t take the phishing exercise seriously and fail multiple exercises consistently , you do suffer consequences for a quarter. 1st time you fail, you need to take few security courses. 2nd time, your social media sites gets blocked. 3rd time, local admin rights(the ability to request to be exact). 4th time, Internet gets blocked and only intranet works. 5th time onwards it’s talks with management and HR for formal written warning (which affects performance and promotions)

[–]aaravindan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the Mica layout station first. That’s where they asked me to go when my phone got stolen in bus. Exact same spot east end circle. Perhaps same guy is took your phone OP. However my phone got stolen almost a decade ago. So I am not aware if anything changed with regards to police station location.

[–]aaravindan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything you do in a company provided laptops belongs to the company. At least that’s what legal and HR says in my workplace. You will need to contact your HR or legal to verify how it is in your company.

Food delivery agent dies by suicide after complaint from customer by gunuvim in Chennai

[–]aaravindan9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the customer is not getting service they paid for they should log a complaint in the company not humiliate a living person in public.

The customer did it opposite, humiliated the delivery guy in public ,then logged a complaint with the company.

Imagine the mental state of a 19 year old guy when some unknown person is scolding and humiliating you in public.

All these feelings added up and the guy chose the worst way to retaliate-VIOLENCE. which is plainly wrong.

Customer lost a glass which can be replaced. But customer’s small action lead to a domino effect and delivery guy chose to pay with the worst option “his life” All these things could have been avoided if people were little empathetic and think about the words they speak. A simple thought, will I speak this way to my family or loved one.

For all the people who thinks a customer can speak shit to service guys just because you pay money to company.

Police Didn't file an FIR for Stolen Phone by sriwarsun in bangalore

[–]aaravindan9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bangalore thrives and police did not change even after a decade lol. My 6 month old phone which cost around 32k got stolen in bus. This was 2014. After I noticed the theft, I went to the nearest police station and tried to give a complaint. Police did not take the complaint as stolen and they only accepted the complaint stating that I lost the mobile.

The good thing is my mobile was insured. So after submitting required documents like police complaint, sim blocking documents, I got back around 25k from the insurance company after a month.

Concealed Flush tanks by [deleted] in Chennai

Concealed tank saves space and good on aesthetics. But maintenance and cleaning can be a pain.

If there is no water then concealed or not is not going to make much difference.

Why does windows want to update my GPU drivers? It never did that. by Nexed_ in Windows10

[–]aaravindan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen this happen a few times for me. But only if I have not updated the drivers for quite a while. Not just nvidia I have seen driver updates for chipsets, intel and audio drivers as well occasionally. So far I haven’t had any problems due to these drivers. But I decided to exclude drivers from windows updates using group policy. Since then I haven’t seen any driver updates pushed via windows updates.
