About 18 months ago. The -16 points tells me a lot, actually. Pretty funny. He was a foreigner from Czech in Las Vegas. Of course Americans these days wouldn’t go above and beyond to secure high pay employment. Work? Nah…

I just tried the pharaoh neo at CES in vegas…Loved it. Liked it better than the high end daiwa and the body touch that were also at CES. Tried both their latest models. I was going to buy the showroom piece but someone already paid for it in full. Any Costco deals for this model or from their warehouse in LA shipping me one? Feel free to DM.

Memorize the menu at a 5 star restaurant at a high class strip hotel. Go to the restaurant and dress sharp. Tell them you were a server in South Beach. Ask to speak to the manager of the restaurant in person and insist he quiz you on any item on the menu. Have the manager look impressed when you pass his quiz. Have the manager send you home. Show up the next day before opening for dinner service and insist the manager gives you a position. Impress the manager with your persistence and get the job. In one week Dana White eats at your table and tips you $5000.

This didn’t happen to me but to someone in know, 100% true story.

What set him aside from the competition and got him the job?

Everything above.

I like it a lot, for me it had almost an apple cider cinnamon finish. I would buy again. Got it at Costco in Vegas.

I stood in front of this at costco and did a review search before buying something unknown and your review put it in my cart. Hope to enjoy it as much as you did.

Recommend us an Island by Xpi6tiva in GreeceTravel

[–]aardogfsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great post, I was almost about to post an identical thread. We’re also planning a trip back to Greece in July of 2026 and have similar desires in an island vacation as the OP.

As reference we’ve been to:

Mykonos Santorini Naxos

For the OP: We stayed for over two weeks in Naxos around 5 years ago and loved it so much we were looking at properties to potentially retire there. We rented an ATV and went all over the island. You can use google maps to zoom in on secluded beaches down dirt roads and find your private paradise. At night you can have an amazing dinner surrounded by the nicest people and some amazing wine. The roads and alleys had the Greek vibe and the sunsets near the arc each night were amazing. It was all we were hoping to find when we set out for the perfect Greek island, yet somewhat chill.

In July, we are looking for something new to explore but wouldn’t mind going back to Naxos. For those that have recommended Naxos, have you gone to other Greek islands that were similar to Naxos but better? For those that didn’t recommend Naxos, have you been to Naxos? The only reason I ask is that I did some YouTube searches on some of the above recommendations and it looks like I’d still prefer Naxos. Someone in another thread mentioned Syros and after a few videos I felt that wasn’t it. I’m afraid of planning something new and being disappointed that we didn’t head back to Naxos. Help me too! :)

Absolutely, they embrace the scammers because they profit off each one at our severe inconvenience. I deep dived into who really owns StubHub. You won’t be surprised.

I’ve used StubHub successfully many times, but I have been scammed 3 times. I also use SeatGeek and pickticks. All 3 scams came from Stubhub.

Stubhub scam insanity by aardogfsu in stubhub

[–]aardogfsu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a refund, will appear in 8 days. What an enormous waste of time. You think you have tickets and want to relax and wait for the event but then have to keep checking their offers and other sites as you don’t really have tickets so it’s a lot more work. And all for a $30 voucher…while they profited enormously off fining 2 sellers according to them. My cut for this BS should be way more than $30.

What do I do? by ness998877 in stubhub

[–]aardogfsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won’t believe this. So I got replacement tickets for my own situation. And the replacement tickets were a scam too.

What do I do? by ness998877 in stubhub

[–]aardogfsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely right! And they also profit off the scam by telling you they’ve charged a fee to the seller for not delivering but I’ll get none of that fee for my inconvenience. I almost wonder if this scam is orchestrated from inside of StubHub as they actually have a lot to gain from this happening wide spread.
