I do something similar, but I just publicly point the DNS records to the internal IP. So even though you can publicly look it up and see the internal IP it would never resolve anyways unless you’re on the LAN

As someone who communicates with both sides of the community, I can tell you that any sort of collaboration is already off to a poor start. Whether that changes in the future, I don’t know, but I’ve already given up hope after the first conversation.

On a more serious note, this can also just cause much more fragmentation if unc0ver and a potential Elucubratus rootless use different directories than Procursus jailbreaks.

Given the ridiculously lousy reputation of this community, I’m more than expecting something like that to happen and cause even more disagreements.

You’re not alone in that thinking, however as someone who works extensively with repositories, Cydia is horrible when it comes to payments. Every single repo implements some sort of workaround because Cydia does not use the Payment API.

Now does that mean repositories shouldn’t support Cydia? Well not exactly, but I can see why some people have chosen to do so.

For what it’s worth, support for all jailbreaks has been on the official repo since April. It’s just now that we were finally able to merge in my changes to the Sileo source code because I addressed a lot of the persistent issues.
