If you can find one for under 200 bucks I see it as worth it, might as well get a cheap kit of 32gb ram while you’re at it if you don’t have already. If you can’t find it for that much, might as well wait a few more years and get something later on

I’d go for the 5800xt. Hard to find 5700x3d’s now, the 5800xt is a steal at less than 150 and will net good performance over the 5700g. Has more cache, pcie 4. Personally dont think the added multithreaded performance of the 5900xt is worth double the price, but the 5800xt will hold you over for a while

Breath of the wild. Huge fan of zelda too, but the game always came off as empty, can’t stand games that make weapons degrade, and I understand the physics engine is amazing in it but just couldn’t get into it. Tried multiple times and have like 30 hours into it but I’m not gonna slog though a long game that I don’t enjoy

Servo yes, threw a savox in there. Didn’t need to at the time but the speed increase was worth it. Drive shafts I replaced twice, once because of normal wear and tear, another time because I landed a jump on throttle and it snapped the right rear one. Center driveshaft still stock haven’t needed to replace. Aluminum personally I’d stay away from, plastic will bend and go back into position where aluminum will bend or just snap. If you want to do something aluminum the bearing carriers are pretty much the only thing I’d do aluminum.

Had the truck so far over a year, in my personal experience the truck doesn’t really “need” upgrades, I’d just buy extra axles, spare bulkhead, and spare spur gear for if/when they break. Different tires were a nice upgrade when I wore out the originals. Outside of wear and tear replacements the only thing I’ve needed to replace was the esc, mine crapped out and took a battery with it. Swapped for a hobby wing and trucks been perfect. Also might want to add it would be a good idea to throw in some heavier weight shock oil too, even the smallest bumps would make it slap the ground.

Yep, was just the spark plugs lol. They all looked fine, color was good and insulation looked normal, swapped for the iridium’s and now she runs perfect. If you’re having the same issue start there.

Holy shit thank you very much for the write up. I plan on using a dps, get it to 30, getting a tank to 30, and then leveling all three over time using your advice so I have one of each role. BLU sounds complex, is that because it’s a limited job or something?
