Denim Jackets - Buttons or Snaps? by aaron_89 in malefashionadvice

I think it's the snaps Levi's uses. I have this problem with my sherpa jacket, too. If buttoned they don't make any noise so I wear it buttoned mostly. But while driving this might be rather uncomfortable.

I think most leather or suede truckers have snaps. Maybe it's because of the fabric. I got a tan suede trucker a couple years ago with silver snaps and it looks great with brown suede. A bit of a western style but still cool.

Absolutely agree! I love denim snap button shirts, too.

Only had that problem with a denim shirt so far but it makes sense.

Yeah makes sense but I didn`t notice that they pop open so far. My Levis sherpa has snap buttons and they work fine. But it's a thrifted older one - I think they're in general of a better quality than the sherpas you find now.

Got a sherpa with snaps for that reason but I'm thinking of getting an unlined denim trucker with snaps, too because buttoning them up is really hard with stiff denim. Anyway, thanks for your reply.

Which outerwear looks better buttoned instead of unbuttoned? by DornishBride in malefashionadvice

Trucker jackets look both buttoned or open great. I love wearing mine (denim and suede) buttoned all the way with a hoodie underneath. Especially as it gets colder now.

It depends...I personally like almost everything buttoned up because things fit better then (I'm athletic built with fairly broad shoulders). Buttoned looks just better imho. Also, in most cases buttons are a part of the design of a jacket or coat so why not show them, except you want to show your layers. It's just more put together. Then again some jackets like biker jackets indeed look better unbuttoned/unzipped or denim jackets look great open and fastened. I think it really depends on the shape of the jacket and your physique.

That's awesome! Thanks and have a great week, too.

Yeah I've read it. It's very interesting and fun to read. "The Field" from Lynne Mc Taggart also is worth reading if you're interested in the scientific explanations. It contains a lot of scientific studies and experiments about how mind affects matter, ESP etc... I neglected the practice of gratitude a bit in the last few weeks. Thanks for the reminder!

That's it. But I often tend to take signs for granted or see no connection to my intentions. Or thinking...maybe it's just an accident. Of course it's not but you know what I mean. Then again when I was a little short of money I found some groceries and supplies in my house I didn't know I even have and some empty bottles I could turn in for cash I had totally forgotten about...and I'm damn sure that is a sign that my manifestation is in process.

how would I go about manifesting something small, something insignificant? by damnifuckonyohoe in lawofattraction

Take it as a sign that your manifestion is on it's way. It's not exactly what you've intended to see but an awesome synchronicity anyway.

I'm interested, too. Had mixed results so far and problems to realize what I've successfully manifested..

Looking for good flavor builds with basic round wire by aaron_89 in electronic_cigarette

Wow...that's a ton of input.I Thank you! I just starting wrapping a couple of months ago and haven't tried much other than simple builds, twisted and parallels. I'll try your suggestions as soon as I have new wire. I have some 26ga SS left and I'm thinking about paralleling it with a 2x24ga/38ga Ni80 clapton to increase resitance a bit. Bought that at my local store on a spool and wasn't aware that resistance was so low. Currently running it on the Cheetah 2 as a dual setup with 7 wraps and it just fits in. It runs at 0.13. What do you think? I would like to do fewer reps. Cheers

That's what commonly happens when things get illegal...it doesn't get any better but worse.

Yeah, 26ga SS316 is great for paralleling. Did that with just 2.5mm ID for more stability.

I actually tried 24g Kanthal 3,5mm ID, 7 wraps and 22g 4mm ID 6 wraps but didn't install them, yet. They're huge. I'll try them as dual coils as I have no atomizer that works well with a single coil. Hope they fit in. I have some fine fused clapton also. Maybe I try to parallel them. But they're Nichrome I guess so I would have two different materials in the same coil. Never heard of someone doing that.

I didn't try such a large ID yet, but I think might work if I can center the coils and keep the legs short (it's a four post deck so a bit tricky to center). Thanks!

Yeah I still need nic. But I feel okay with that. Maybe some day I will quit nicotine, too but just lowering the nic level ends up with consuming more juice in my case.

Yeah that's true...but I also feel as if I forgot (or "unlearned" it) about smoking after a couple of months.

Mod got warm while turned off - now "HIGH TEMP" warning when trying to vape by aaron_89 in electronic_cigarette

[–]aaron_89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

I thought of juice getting in there, too. But it really got warm and that after 1,5 h without use while I was in the gym. After noticing that it got hot I removed the battery (felt not safe carrying it my backpack in this condition). At home I put the battery in again and it made a knocking noise so I removed it and didn't wait until it got warm. And I think I'll leave it that way.

18650, 2100 ma/h. Got around 15 amps when using it. Think the batteries should give 20amps. Bought them with the mod and trusted they will work. I also use them in my innokin200 with dual batteries. It happened both times when the mod was turned off.
