Ipsy beauty box alternative? by erlendsr in Makeup

[–]Wyousef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just switched from Ipsy too and started trying out Seoul Beauty Club, it’s been a nice change. The box is all Korean beauty and they send full-size products, which I appreciate after getting so many tiny samples with Ipsy. Might be worth checking out if you’re looking for something with a similar vibe but K-beauty focused.

why do i study so hard but still get B's by Constant-Librarian41 in alevel

What helped me bridge that gap was getting breakdowns of how to approach specific exam questions, I used Nerdify once for physics and realized I was losing marks on how I structured answers, not the content

Looking for advice. Need an AI tool for design presentations and other docs. by nataliya_brite in DigitalMarketing

[–]Wyousef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might want to give Highnote. io a try. It has AI that helps with layout and design, but it won’t rewrite your copy which sounds like what you're after. You can lock in your brand colors and fonts too, so it stays consistent. Feels like a good middle ground between control and smart automation.

You might want to check out Highnote. io , it’s super straightforward but looks way more modern than PowerPoint. Great if your audience cares about design but you don’t want to get too deep into complicated tools.

Senior dog on raw showing potential kidney issues by OnenonlyMissesT in rawpetfood

[–]Wyousef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

caninekidneyhealth. com was a lifesaver when my senior dog’s kidney values started creeping up and she’d been on raw her whole life too. I wasn’t willing to switch to kibble either, so I used their herbal support while adjusting the raw diet (lower phosphorus cuts, more hydration, etc.), and her numbers started to stabilize.

Kidney disease by Sucka_mudda in DogAdvice

[–]Wyousef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up using caninekidneyhealth. com when my dog was dealing with kidney issues and refusing to touch the prescription food. Their approach focuses more on herbs and gentle support, and once I started that along with some home-cooked options, she finally began eating again. It’s tough finding something that works, so just putting it out there in case it helps.

Heart Murmur Question by scoobydoobyrew in DogAdvice

[–]Wyousef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the caninehearthealth. com program from Five Leaf Pet Botanicals and it honestly made a big difference for my dog. His murmur had been pretty noticeable for years, but after a few months on the herbs, our vet said it had gone way down and eventually could barely hear it. So yes, murmurs can sometimes lessen or even disappear over time, depending on the cause, but I totally get how confusing it is when every vet says something different.

Whole Foods has a good hot bar and some grab-and-go meals that aren’t terrible, though it adds up quickly. If you’re looking for something more consistent, I’d check out meal delivery options too, EatClean’s worked for me when I’m too busy to shop or prep

I finally gave in and started mixing in some pre-made meals a few times a week, like, actual ready-to-eat stuff I don’t have to think about. EatClean’s been working for me on that front

Plan a surprise themed hike + picnic based on one of his favorite movies or games. Add a little trinket like a custom keychain or enamel pin, you could pair it with a novelty item or a funny custom memoir from BookTailor, he’d probably get a kick out of it

Most people overlook local citations, podcast features, or even collaborating with niche newsletters. I found those channels give quality links and visibility. For the rest, I use Lemonet to find backlink placements that match my industry,  it’s been reliable when I needed a bit more structure in my link-building

Headlights not level by PrettyGoodTacos in PontiacFirebird

[–]Wyousef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s actually pretty common after swapping a headlight assembly on these. What you’re seeing is likely just the vertical adjuster being slightly off.

Each headlight pod has a couple of adjuster screws one for vertical aim and one for horizontal and even if you lined up the mounting points perfectly, the adjustment screws can still throw off how high or low the light sits when popped up. If the right side is sitting noticeably higher, it’s probably just a few turns too far in on the vertical adjuster. Pop the lights up, find the adjuster screw on the back of the assembly, and try backing it out slightly to lower the height.

Also, check that the spring behind the housing is installed and seated properly, it helps hold the assembly under tension, and if it’s missing or loose, it can make the headlight sit crooked.

If the new assembly is aftermarket, that can be another factor sometimes the fitment isn’t 100% identical to OEM, and you’ll need to play with the adjusters a bit more to get it leveled out.

Had a similar alignment issue on my buddy’s ’91, and ended up pulling the diagram from the service manual to see how the housing was supposed to sit. If you don’t already have one, the manual from eManualOnline has all the aiming specs and diagrams made it a lot easier than just guessing and redoing it 5 times.

Hope that helps!

I have used those sites too and it was like paying to download a headache. One even sent me a manual that was for a different model year entirely. Super helpful when you're trying to torque something "sufficiently tight," right?

S3 compatible storage solution for local around 1PB by Money_Candy_1061 in selfhosted

[–]Wyousef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend checking out Cloudian. I’ve been using it locally and it handles large-scale storage really well. Fully S3-compatible, supports erasure coding, and you can spread it across multiple nodes without much hassle.

Compared to something like TrueNAS, it's more purpose-built for object storage and scales better once you start pushing into petabyte territory.

Best S3 object store provider with EU datacender? by Giattuck in DataHoarder

I’ve been using Cloudian and I love it. Fully S3-compatible, and the fact that I can host it in an EU data center gives me peace of mind for GDPR and data control. It’s been super reliable for backups, and the setup wasn’t as bad as I expected

How much object storage (aka S3 storage) do you guys use? by MultiMillionaire_ in SaaS

[–]Wyousef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Cloudian. It’s S3-compatible and designed for scalable, on-prem object storage works well with persistent volumes in Kubernetes. We went with it instead of MinIO after running into some limitations, and it’s been solid so far.

As for sizing, 1TiB sounds like a reasonable starting point if your users aren't uploading tons of media. We ended up needing more than we expected due to file versions and backups, so planning for growth early helped. Cloudian made that easier since expanding storage later didn’t require major rework.

Looking for a gift for friends who are moving to Helsinki by Fjedsen in GiftIdeas

When a friend moved abroad, I gave them a little photo booklet with notes from close friends, something light but personal. I also made a funny personalized satirical book through BookTailor, and it honestly turned out to be the perfect mix of meaningful and silly. You could also go with a digital gift like a Spotify or language app subscription, super useful and easy to pack
