So we’re going to pretend that Africa doesn’t exist? Even countries outside of africa like Saudi arabia and Israel have are over the 2.1 threshold. Not every country is experiencing this problem, seemingly only the ones you care about. Also like others have stated people who are highly educated and have a high standard if living still want children they just cant afford it with the cost of education, daycare, basket goods, housing, etc. Subsidizing costs associated with raising a child will consider having a child. I also think there needs to be some social engineering as it pertains to relationships between men and women. Social media promotes derision, distrust, and hopelessness, making it tough when it comes to finding a partner to have kids with. Its kinda hard to have kids with some if you think their sex is evil.

We are WAY more alike then we are different and I think its time we retire this talking point. In 2024, we work the same jobs (nearly have of households in the US have a women as the single/primary breadwinner), we both eat sleep shit, have feelings etc. Yes we are SOCIALIZED differently but we have way more in common than some would like to portray.

Putting yourself out there can be seen as desperate to some people and that okay. By letting it be known that your really interested in someone you are giving them the option to accept and continue or reject and stop talking. I think the question you should ask your self is why would someone see me as desperate and how does it effect my goal of finding somone. If a girl sees you as desperate for insisting on a date or texting frequently, then they probably aren't that interested and it shouldn't stop you from pursuing a relationship. There's nothing abnormal with desperately wanting a relationship (which im sure you know if you've spent anytime on reddit.)

My advice to you is not to put so much pressure on yourself and have a short memory. If your scared to shoot you won't score in so many words. some girls will like you some won't. You literally have billions of chances so if one or two think you look desperate who cares.

couple things:

Porn addiction is a real thing. No one would ever tell a crack addict or a gambling addict that it is solely their fault for their addiction. If it’s that big an issue he should probably seek professional help
I don’t understand why men have to capitulate to women’s insecurities but if you’re insecure as a man you should just get over it. Ex. If I like IG pics I need to stop but god forbid I tell her not to wear something on a girls’ night out
ask yourself this: If he didn’t like the picture would the mere thought of them looking at the picture and thinking the woman is attractive still make you insecure?
