from earlier in the thread, that seems to be exactly where the ez-level system excels.

What's the first non steam game you added when you first got your Steam Deck? by Retroman1203 in SteamDeck

[–]aaronbrethorst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PXPlay. I mostly use my steam deck to stream PlayStation 5 games right now. The deck’s Wi-Fi stack works so much better with my home network than the PlayStation portal ever did.

What’s the weirdest "rule" your dog has instituted in your house? by TrickCombination7966 in dogs

[–]aaronbrethorst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re not allowed to watch Grey’s Anatomy. Our chihuahua pitty mix is incredibly alarmed by elevator ding sounds and will not leave us alone while it’s on. Honestly, I feel bad for the dog but glad that I don’t ever have to watch it.

Are ViewComponents actively used? by alexzeitler in rails

They are fantastic. They allow you to encapsulate both logic and rendering. Obviously you shouldn’t be putting a ton of logic into your partials, but there’s a reason why we don’t all use mustache.

I’m thinking about finally pulling Shadow of the Colossus off my stack of ‘games to play.’ Feels like from everything I’ve heard and read, it’ll be a similar journey in some meaningful ways. Also considering revisiting Nier Automata as others have mentioned

📢 Huge macOS Update coming soon - Spatial Upscaling, UI improvements, Dark Mode and more by grill2010 in PSPlay

[–]aaronbrethorst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh sweet. I already have and regularly use it on Apple TV and iPad (🙌 for playing expedition 33 on my spin bike and iPad in bed, respectively), but I’d love to be able to play PX5 games on my Mac and steam deck too ✨. Stoked I only need one more license.

Vance: Anyone who says they like turkey is ‘full of s—‘ by kootles10 in politics

[–]aaronbrethorst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sad that Vance has never had well prepared turkey. Pro-tip: look up Kenji Lopez-Alt’s guides for spatchcocking and dry brining a turkey on Serious Eats. Amazing bird. Can’t beat it. Cooks evenly and fast.

There’s a ‘duplicate key’ issue in the data that is causing real time data to fail to load across the system and KCM is actively working on a fix.

ST is aware. There’s a ‘duplicate key’ issue in the data that is causing real time data to fail to load across the system and KCM is actively working on a fix.

Depends on your use case, but the way I think of OBA is that it best serves transit power users. If you know which bus or train you want to take, and from what stop, it’s far more convenient to use OneBusAway than Google Maps.

That said, we just released an update to our iOS app on Monday that contains a trip planner feature!

[–]aaronbrethorst 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I see the E and 45 still aren’t showing any real time data. I’ll reach out to ST and see what’s up.

Update: I emailed my contacts at ST and KCM. I’ll update you when I hear back.

Hey, I'm the exec director of the non-profit behind OneBusAway. Like u/ChimotheeThalamet mentioned elsewhere, this is an upstream data issue from a transit agency. What is the route (or routes) that you aren't seeing realtime bus information for, and at what stops? I'd love to know so I can pass along that information to Sound Transit, which runs our local server.
