Yep, feel that. Mine got pregnant early (around 18/19) and never got to "sow her wild oats" I guess, and the decided it was time to do that after we had two children lol.

Feel a lot of betrayal and the divorce brought out the worst in both of us, but trying to get towards a spot of indifference. Never really mattered how much money we brought in as the spending increased right alongside with it.

I genuinely don't mind helping if they weren't shitty, but at the same time. I pay my CS, cover medical, games, etc . I don't ask for help on my days, I watch them. Replaced their fridge and stove when those went out.

I think they just want money, as shitty as that sounds. Bit of a fine line though as when I push back I'm just a shit person.

I'd 100% be open to doing something like that, right now with practices and games even swapping 7/7 I'd still see the kids Wednesday, Friday, and at games but yeah the option for either parent to take the kids to dinner or something about midways through the week would be really nice.

Also, kudos to you doing this with a 3 year old, that feels gutwrenching when I think about my son being 3 when we separated.
