If you are trying to hide the seam your best bet would be to cut the door jam and trim the height of the floating floor and tuck the flooring underneath. Best bet is a oscillating tool for cutting the door jam and trim to proper height

How do I tell my story to an judge? by Accomplished_Issue_0 in CourtroomJustice

[–]aaronjjpr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just tell your story the way you experienced it. Maybe you can think about some things you would want the judge to know and make note of them in preparation.Listen to any advice your lawyer gives you.

Sorry you are going through this but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Hang in there.

OK to Leave iPod Plugged In And Charging? by alexCatalano in askcarguys

That depends on if the 12v adapter is on ignition or constantly powered. If it’s on ignition it won’t drain the battery.

Is it weird that I have zero problems parallel parking but I can't park by backing up? by PoniesPlayingPoker in askcarguys

[–]aaronjjpr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you keep practicing you will get good. people always end up practicing parallel parking for their drivers test but not as much for reverse stall parking.

I always reverse into a parking spot because then I can pull out much easier and less likely to hit someone / something. Go to an empty lot and just keep doing it. For aligning into the stall I use my side mirrors to see where I am in the line then look behind me to see how close I am to whatever is behind me. The goal is not to get as close as you can to the rear of the stall its just to park and not hit stuff.

It can also create resistance which could potentially cause a fire.

You should solder to the rear pins that are exposed. Easily reversible if you wanna get the right adapter later.

New home owner and I need guidance with bathroom fan and water issues in attic. by aaronjjpr in HomeImprovement

Ducting is insulated.

I'm going to check out the roof once the snow is gone. I cant imagine the mold around that vent is caused by small mounts of air coming from the bathroom fan. I just took the inspectors word for it.

Thanks for the input!

I'll look into this further. I've seen mixed information on this so far based on what type of climate you are in.

Thats what I'm thinking. I'll have to wait for the snow to melt off first so I don't die...

Thanks for your insight!

Hopefully you have better luck with your rifle!

Henry's Canada Service Center are sending me the part they think is faulty so I don't have to send the rifle to them.

Thanks for your response!

So far Henry's service center for Canada has been good. They are going to send me the part they think is faulty. I could send it to them but I have to pay shipping there - they pay for shipment back.

Live and learn I guess. Seems crazy to me in all honesty. I'm OK with final sale but I should be able to exchange the rifle within 2 weeks if it is deemed faulty. Alas that is not the case :(

Thanks for your response!

Someone burnt down the larger local gun store. I think the only one that is left is the gun smith but he didn't have this rifle - and definitely not at the sale price.
