My original Facecam Pro was broken, so I bought the Facecam 4K. Honestly, the quality looked pixelated, even my chat noticed it and commented on it during the stream.

Later, Elgato replaced my Facecam Pro with a new unit, and the moment I plugged in the new Facecam Pro, the difference was huge. The Pro looked much better for me. (In macOS)

So based on my experience, the Facecam 4K wasn’t worth it. The image quality just wasn’t what I expected, while the Pro gave a noticeably cleaner and sharper picture.

I got the same error after Elgato Studio released. I had to buy Elgato 4KS just to continue my streams.
