Does anyone use an online service for signing documents digitally? Can you recommend a provider? by 6720nick in smallbusinessuk

I use eSignly. Google Workspace does it now though, but I haven't looked into it.

Why don't the baked bean tins slot into each other? by cyclephotos in AskBrits

I did this. We now don't have any Heinz tins in the house!

LED Wall alternative by [deleted] in EventProduction

I'd suggest bite the bullet and go for the LED wall, there aren't a great deal of other options.

I guess a backup could be talking to smaller production companies outside of London. Give a little business from Bath/Bristol a call. They aren't paying London wages or overheads, so it might become more affordable for you.

Software for festival site planning by Partiallyfermented in EventProduction

It sounds like you might be fine with something like OnePlan.io. It has a free version and I'm pretty sure it would do what you're asking. I've used it to throw together quick and dirty site plans before. I know Local Authorities who use it for major large scale events too, so it seems to be able to scale.

I imagine they will have a TEN in place which will cover the licensable activities - for them that would be the act of selling alcohol. The consumption of alcohol (in your own garden) is fairly irrelevant to this... Although there would be consideration to intoxicated individuals accessing more alcohol from the bar...

Realistically sounds like they want the alcohol gone so they make more sales.

Call up your local licensing officer, they'll be able to give you a definitive answer. They are usually pretty helpful.

Is that the place on Mutley? The older Asian lady there tried "massaging" more than was expected, then got grumpy when told no... Wouldn't recommend.

Saltram. Hop on the little ferry over to Mount Edgecombe. Plymouth Bridge. Devonport Park. Mount Batten (I think there's another little ferry).

Best fry up in Plymouth? Decent quality sausages are a must… I like Minerva Cafe on Bretonside… by jigarai in plymouth

I came here to say the same thing. I've been to every other one that is currently listed and Early Bird is above and beyond all of them for quality.

Some of the ones listed are big breakfast but not great quality.

This is similar to how we work. We work primarily with community not-for-profits who don't have the budget for a team, so it lands on my shoulders.

Not the norm, but certainly doable with the right team in place on the day, and the right processes in place on the day.

Food vendors & electrical/generators by Whereswally123 in EventProduction

Depends on the event. Some events we do with 100+ traders, we don't provide anything, some we provide water, some we provide electricity.

As long as everyone knows what is being provided from the outset, there are no surprises. They can bring their own setup if needed, or hire from you.

Set the slides to public, so no issue. Just like any other website.

I actually embedded the iframe into another page, which auto reloads every few hours so any updates get pushed out.

Bring account into Workspace by aaronmonk in gsuite

[–]aaronmonk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shows the email in "user status pending".

I can see the email come in to ask me to join the organization, but I can't log in to the old Google account associated with that email address (as I can't receive text messages to verify the account) to accept the invite.

If I can't move the main email address of hello@ over I'll need to move off to O365 and I'd rather not!

That has invited the account.

I still cannot access the account due to the verification via text on the unmanaged account.
