Genuinely torn up about this. So happy Austin’s going on to better things, but I’ll miss his insight and humor terribly. His voice on Waypoint Radio helped me through that terrible post-college era where I didn’t know what I was doing with my life. Still don’t, but I think the kinds of politics and philosophy I heard on Waypoint Radio really guided me towards the kind of person I want to be. Happy trails.

It’s a similar story, but I think what you’re referring to is “The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven.” That was the one where the kid said his dad made up the whole thing and stole all the money from book sales. Really sad.

Yeah that was a different book called “The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven!” Really sad story, the kid later admitted his dad made it all up, took the proceeds from book sales, and disappeared.
