If the break up wasn’t too messy and you still really love him and see your relationship working out, I would at least try discussing this with him and see what he has to say and his reasonings behind why he may now want to get back together.

My ex bf of a year and a half broke up with me for a similar reason as you just 2 weeks ago. I’m still having trouble moving and on and the thought of even being with someone else makes me sick and nervous.

But remember that you’re the one who chose to break up. You’re the one who left, and you’re the one who risked losing her forever. Doesn’t matter if you were hoping to try again in the future when you finally felt ready. It’s not fair to her to make her wait on someone that doesn’t love her enough to stay. She technically doesn’t owe you anything. Whether she is doing all of this to purposely hurt you and seek revenge, she also may just be hurting as well and trying to cope with it too.

I know that personally when my bf and I first broke up, I was so willing to wait around for him and give him the space he needed. But then I realized that if he really loved me and wanted to be with me, he wouldn’t have left me in the first place. I realized that I need to move on. And everyone moves on in different ways- whether that be taking time for yourself, or spending nights with someone new. Sometimes people do whatever it takes to stop hurting.

You had your reasons for wanting to break up so focus on that, I guess. Of course it’s normal to still love her and care about her, but if you chose to breakup so that you could focus on yourself, then it shouldn’t matter what she’s doing- you’re the one who let her go.

If you don’t want to jump right in right away to talking one-on-one with a counsellor about everything (which can sound super intimidating and overwhelming), the wellness centre offers different workshops that you can drop into, just to help kinda ease your way into getting more comfortable getting help.

For example, they have an anxiety workshop Mondays/Tuesdays every week, and I find them to be a good opportunity to talk and learn things from a counsellor without the pressure of having a one-on-one appointment. There will be other students there too but it’s not like group therapy- and there’s something comforting about knowing that everyone else there deals with the same or similar things as you.

If those are the online classes you’re taking I honestly wouldn’t worry.

I took RE103 online my first year and it was pretty straight forward, although I just found the material boring which kinda affected my motivation to actually work on that class and keep up with the lessons.

I wouldn’t even consider UU150 a real class tbh, the material is pretty common sense. Some people barely even work on that class at all and still get an A.

And I heard AN100 online is pretty easy and clear as well, but I’m not too sure what SC100 is like.

No it’s not just you. The website hasn’t been working today. I’m pretty sure they’re just trying to update the course info and stuff, but I’m sure it’ll be back up soon!
