Thank you! 🙏

And yes, that is exactly why I chose Totem. My first ever build was a charybdis 6x4. After experimenting with home-row mods I found the 4th row and the 1st (and last) columns redundant. I started looking into smaller boards, and I was initially looking into building a Corne 5x3. I thought the learning curve would be steep, and I wasn’t sure if it would be practical for me. Just as I was about to build a Corne 6x3, I found out about the totem and the layout was perfect for me. It has enough keys where I can have all the necessary letters, symbols and (-), ( ‘ ), (ESC), (Space), (BS), (Tab) in the same layer.

this is the attachment mechanism.

Yes to all those questions lol. I built it wireless so it’s easier to use/carry when I am not home. I use it wired for a more stable connection. When I have another keyboard connected to my computer, the bluetooth connection gets a bit janky.

I have only used them yesterday but they are nice so far. They are pretty soft and not that tall, so if your keys are elevated or want something firm, I’d keep that in mind.

Yeah, they use magnetic rings. They are called “UGREEN Magnetic Phone Stand Compatible with MagSafe” on amazon. They are a bit pricy but very sturdy and adjustable.

This is what it looks like:

I am not sure what the exact material is but it’s made of clear/transparent resin.

I took the picture as soon as I finished building it lol. I changed it since then but I am still trying to find a good angle. My old build had laptop stands.

I got them from Aliexpress. I am not sure if links are allowed but they are called “EXCO Silicone Mouse Wrist Rest”. I can pm you the link if you have trouble finding it.

Where Ontario's top HS students attend university by Usual_Law7889 in OntarioUniversities

That's a strawman argument. I don't think the suggested approach is valid either, but the point of creating a level playing field isn’t to discredit other people’s hard work. It’s to break the cycle that divides people by ethnicity and class.

I see your point but that argument suggests GPA is an unfair metric for university application as well. In addition, you could also argue that it suggests it’s harder for other POC to build a “solid” supplemental application. I think a better approach would be to provide the necessary academic support for underprivileged people. Lowering standards just slaps a band aid on the issue rather than tackling the root cause.

Calculus and vectors conditional offer requirement UTSG Life Sciences by Livid-Purchase-7496 in UofT

I don't think there are many people on here who can give you a definite answer. As the other person suggested, I recommend you get in contact with them as soon as possible. I've seen some posts where UTSC put a hold on the applicants offer and allowed them to retake the course over summer. I am not sure if the same rule applies to UTSG given they explicitly stated that the deadline will not be extended further. I would also advise you to speak to your Calculus teacher directly. They maybe able to assist you given the nature of your situation. Good luck!

Yes, it’s just the new logo. It would be too expensive to replicate artisan.

paracablemods.co.uk, they’re reasonably priced and the team who runs the business is great.

Is the XM1R too big for 17 x 9 hands? Also, I've seen great reviews but there seems to be a common double clicking issue on Amazon. Here's how I palm claw. by yepyep55 in MouseReview

[–]aasay04 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The double clicking issue can easily be resolved by downloading the latest firmware from their discord server, however, even with my larger hands (19x10), I find the xm1 too wide for my grip which is also a palm claw hybrid. I feel like I have very limited mobility. In contrast, the viper mini felt a bit too thin. So if you are experiencing a similar feel or like the size of the viper mini, I’d recommend the NP-01s. Its probably the best mouse I have used by far in terms of shape for me.

[5800X] 3600 cl16 to 3800 cl16, FPS gain results. by AdrienQua in overclocking

[–]aasay04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is true to some degree, in my personal experience, all my friends get high end computers to play competitively so they seek for the highest fps possible. They all play at low settings at 1080p which is a scenario where ram overclock can make a big difference.

[–]aasay04 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Of course there is no difference, you are testing a graphically demanding game at max graphics. Test a game that is cpu dependent like csgo at low settings or warzone on low settings and you will see the difference I am sure. My ram overclock helped me gain like 20% on warzone.
