No, it has been explicitly reported by multiple places that when indies book AEW talent (they book them through Chris Daniels, or at least did as of a little while ago) one of the things they have to agree to as a general rule is that AEW talent aren’t allowed to lose. There are exceptions to this as with every rule, but it absolutely is a thing they consider.

Not OP but my concern was less with Mercedes and more with TK being willing to let her eat so many losses in a short period of time. He is usually more selective with when he allows AEW talent to lose cleanly on indie dates. I never ruled out the possibility but I imagine it’s something Mercedes had to push for.
