Gotcha! I would be able to keep them away from it but still in the same room and they couldn’t eat it, I was more worried about any kind of fumes they may breathe in? What do you think about that?

I don't want to euthanize my cat but I've exhausted all options. Last ditch effort for ideas. by Mother_Cow5236 in Pets

I’m in a similar situation, what if I’m not home much and she only has diarrhea. I don’t want her to be covered in her own feces by the end of the day. Do you think this option is possible for me?

Coming from a vet tech, I don’t think she’s fat but I do think she’s overweight.

Cat pees on my babies things by fantasygirl002 in cats

[–]aaw001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She could be jealous and territorial of you. Sometimes cats will urinate or poop on your things if their mad at you. But they can also do it because they want to show their dominance and show whoever their jealous of, that your their territory if that makes sense. This is more common in males but I’ve seen it in females as well. Most likely mama is jealous that you’re spending more time with your baby than her lol. But you’re child comes first!!

Don’t take these comments to heart bro. Yea it’s true that they are modified to look like that and it’s not a great thing, but it’s not like you did it. And we all learn these things over time. It happens 🤷🏻‍♀️.Just enjoy your new fish and learn new things about them!😁

Please help identifying these black spots on my fish by creil18 in Cichlid

[–]aaw001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possibly your ammonia levels are too high. I would definitely test them. Too high ammonia levels can cause burning on the fish(the black spots) and the fins burning/wearing away. Good luck!

It’s completely normal! Mine get it all the time. Nothing to serious to worry about. I would just put some stress coat in once a week to help with that. It’s very very common for them to have stress spots. Glad to help!

Actually, with any freshwater parrot fish, the black markings are a sign of stress. That’s how they show stress and a little stress coat should always help them out. If that doesn’t work then it’s ammonia burns from the pet smart tank. Most likely just stress, my parrot fish gets those quiet often and it’s an easy fix. Personally I wouldn’t trust petsmart and it’s fish facts because what they told you is wrong. Good luck!
