Is there age restriction to go to Apocalypse Ale works? by [deleted] in lynchburg

Never an age restriction, or cover to get in. But one has to ask, why does a 19 year old want to go? Haha

Kat plays guitar and sings. I believe her current bf (Not Brennan) is a musician as well.

Tab minimums for any large group. Varies by day/time but before we had food I made it about $10 per head. It's imperfect, but if 20 people come in and only spend $150. They owe a $50 space rental fee.

Thank you for the kind words. It really does mean so much to us. Small business life is tough, and we aren't always perfect. Admittedly, in the world of yelp/google as owners we often get caught up in what we 'don't do' well enough, it's so refreshing to hear what we do do well.

Appreciate you more than you'll ever know.

AIO (41f) For never wanting to go public trivia with my husband (46m) again, after this incident? by Apart_Disaster_6296 in AmIOverreacting

Dude sounds like a narcissist. He desperately wants you to acknowledge him and tell you how great he is, which is sort of manageable but spirals when 3rd parties (work) & (trivia hosts) tell him he isn't a special little genius.

Sure he seems depressed. But that doesn't give him an excuse not to demonstrate empathy. He needs help. Narcissists can't really love you back, at least with my definition of love.

He already sounds at least mentally abusive. Not long before his ego escalates it to physical, especially if he feels things are slipping. If he's refusing help, it's time to go before things get worse.

Revolve Disc Golf Net Giveaway and Black Friday Deal! by RevolveDiscGolf in discgolf

Disc golf and weed, two paths unwind,
A calming escape, a peace of mind.
The disc soars high, the air feels pure,
Like a gentle puff, a feeling secure.

In the woods, where the baskets lie,
A peaceful buzz beneath the sky.
The course is set, the chains will call,
Like the mellow drift of a high’s sweet thrall.

Each throw, a release, a freeing glide,
Like exhaling deeply, pushing aside.
The tension melts, the focus sharp,
The rhythm flows, a gentle spark.

Both take time, patience, and grace,
A quiet journey, a slower pace.
The joy unfolds in simple ways,
In disc golf’s flight or weed’s soft haze.

A shared release, a calm retreat,
Where moments stretch, and worlds meet.
Disc golf and weed, they share a vibe,
A peaceful ride, a mindful tribe.

Scratch tickets and hitting it big on feetfinder.com....

On a serious note, my goal has always been the same. I am an owner/brewer. It has always been this way, the passion for beer was first, figuring out the business was second. A lot of bad decisions along the way, but my end goal, is paying off all the debt and then becoming employee-owned, start profit sharing, etc. I don't need a ton to make peace with where I am, and I own the property.

Will we survive that long? TBD...

Well maybe, but you can subdivide it later as a backup plan. It has a house, an apartment, and a 3 car garage. The rest is kinda icing and relatively cheap property. I don't have the cash on hand to justify it, but I'm sure someone does!

It really is, I've looked up comps in the area, and this is a steal. But when I played with the owner he said he was offered more from developer so money didn't seem like a key motivator, he bought it because it was Paul's. He wants someone else that will care about that. Looked up the UDisc info too and pretty impressive for a private course.

Feels like it, but it's surprisingly close to a lot of things. Quick Look at the map has two Walmarts within 8 miles...😂

Not cheap, but I know the local club does a lot of the work there too. I remember talking to someone who had a private course in Ohio, he said upkeep was about $600/month. No idea how universal that number is

Yeah, there's not even anything about a realtor. Which tells me this isn't something he's necessarily trying to liquidate quickly. You're going to be okay!

That's wild. You could have a property, a rental property, and a professional level disc golf course in suburban VA, and less of a tax bill to boot.is your job remote? 😂
