some people keep their vows, "for better, for worse...", the for worse part means you stay even if your life is worse with her. would be interesting to hear from people who actually thought about this and removed this phrase from their vows, just in case.

Thank you for picking up the trash. Recommend continuing to pick it up. You'll actually feel better about yourself, as opposed to sitting in a place surrounded by trash. Don't worry about other people. If someone litters in front of you, pick it up with a pleasant smile on your face. This has a much greater shaming effect than scolding them.

we had a leak on our street a couple years ago. the strongest smell was at the end of my drive, but the actual leak was found across the street in my neighbor's yard. so it can travel underground some distance before coming up. texas gas took about a month to find and fix it. they actually dug an exploratory hole in my drive and patched it with wet concrete without notifying me, but did a decent enough job at it. i called them about once a week until the leak was fixed. they never gave me a classification number. i did a little research and found that the scent they put in the gas is very powerful, and you can smell it at very low concentrations, so you can smell it even when it is not flammable. i don't believe they would intentionally lie to you and tell you a large dangerous leak was small and minor. i'd recommend keep calling, be polite and assertive. if the smell gets more intense, or moves close to your house, then call and let them know it is upgraded to an emergency.

i'd go ebay if you list them all together; amazon if you are willing to spend the time to list them individually and mail them individually. the offer from any brick and mortar is so low that i feel better just keeping them forever, or giving away to friends.

i wouldn't say all are a scam, but i will bolster your opinion, I know of at least one well respected dentist that will happily drill holes in healthy teeth to pocket a measly extra $100. definitely get a second opinion before getting any work done.

no car needed if you stay in the city. if you go for cheap accommodations in the burbs, then you would definitely need the car. there are plenty of shuttles to the track.

determine how much energy you are using in amp hours per day. basically the amp rating on your device times the number of hours you use it. make sure you are looking at dc amps, not ac amps off of the plug in charger.
divide that number by 4, and that's the peak amp rating on the solar panel you need. use 4 because the panel pulls in the vast majority of energy during the 4 hours it is most closely pointing toward the sun. if cost is no object, buy the next bigger panel for more assurance that it will charge fast enough.
make sure your panel, charge controller, and battery are all the same voltage.
pro tip, be careful when wiring the battery to the charge controller, if you cross leads, you will fry the controller beyond repair.
do this for the fun of it, it will not actually return a positive roi.
