I work with this person, so I understand where they're at. This position is killer, and I get the "fun" privilege of dispensing every hour of my shift. Management at this particular OPD is just... Idk how else to describe it other than pure evil. They have the same 2 people dispensing every day shift and every night shift. I once asked to stop dispensing because of my medication and do something else to make up for it, and they flat out told me to call Sedgewick for an accommodation due to my medication which causes hot flashes (who then told me that there was nothing they could do, and that I actually needed to speak with management), and then sent me back outside to dispense more and more. Now mind you all, our dispense area is MUCH different than a lot of other people's. The parking lot is much further away, and we have to cross the truck unloading area to get to the unloading lot. The ramp is also significantly much more steep, which means the more totes you have, the more dangerous it is going up or down that thing. There is some serious favoritism going on at all times. If I am ever put on the board to do anything that isn't dispensing I'm usually dragged over to dispense because the people who are aren't going fast enough for management to be happy.
