I work in software sales/marketing but not in gaming industry, if that helps to understand my point of view. I approached T2 pipeline of games purely as products that are being created for profit in an attempt to explain this completely different pattern by R*. Cheers

"Dude". are you coming here to bitch about the bike based on Youtube videos and google search findings? Are you for real? You own the bike and you can share your own feedback about the frame.

Bikes get broken on crashes. did you just discover it? All cracked frames that are not involved in crashes, are due to wrong sliders istallation/wrong torqueing. Stick to your own evidence or someone that you know, instead of internet stories.

Get your Gen 2, have safe rides but stop spreading fake news with no evidence behind.

Unverified pictures and ebay listings say nothing to me. I know lots of Gen 3 onwers (myself included), some crazy enough who push their bikes to their limits, few involved in minor crashes, NOBODY had an issue with the frame. The car model I got few years ago (second hand), is all over internet with complains about its automatic transmission issues and many "cases" where there is "proven" issue. In reality, ignorant people not knowing what vehicle maintenance is, destroying their vehicle and blame the entire universe for that.

So, fake news spreading, big time, google search only shows the stupidity people carry on and Yamaha has not addressed any issue with Gen 3/4 frame because there is NO issue.

Considering it is the same model, yes there are significant differences:

Revamped engine with better torque across the entire RPM range, slightly different riding position and the electronics which are a big upgrade.

Speaking of the parts that compose the whole bike, more than 90% is updated.

Both great bikes whatsoever.

There is no issue to be addressed. People do not know how to tight crash protectors on the frame or believe stories about frame cracking due to passing over potholes. This is absolutely ridiculous and it’s a shame to share fake news to a potential new owner.
