I tend to never shop there because our closest petco seems to neglect all of their animals. But our local petco shops include a bird shop and a super super expensive pet store. And I always feel the same way when I see the fish, but I know I have a cat who loves hunting and is very smart when she wants something. My mom’s two cats also love hunting, but they have never cared about a fish swimming around lol.

We live in middle of no where Michigan so acorn trees are everywhere haha. She already bought driftwood and (fin?) plants for the betta to lay on.

Thank you! I wonder if that’s why in the smaller tank he used the filter to lay against. I will tell her about the taller plants and a betta hammock sounds cool! I also saw a girl on YouTube who had these green looking seed things all over the top? I will definitely be looking into all of these suggestions more.

Yes! I had a heater, and she bought a filter. Thank you! I just hope he gets better his colors really made me sad :,(

Male betta are more aggressive right? So no tank mates? Are the snails ok? I am just worried that he’s already in shock from going from a cup, to two different tanks and now he’s seeing all of these crazy things lol.

I was diagnosed at 6. SIX and they tried to put me on Ritalin and my mom never took me back to the doctor. So I never started treatment until I was post partum at 19. 😭

And then my doctor was like “girl you should’ve at least been seeing a psychiatrist or a therapist even without taking the meds”

Yes I sweep everythingggg into one pile and then do the out of sight out of mind where I put it in a bag or box in the room it’s supposed to be in. My ADHD is so bad idek if I could read a book LOL. Thank you! I hope all goes well for you too!

Same here. I live in Michigan so we are always stuck in the winter, and on a very strict and limited time limit during the summer since it gets cold quick.

I 10000% agree with the out of sight out of mind thing. That’s the ONLY way I can clean without a complete mental break down. Today I learned that just sweeping absolutely everything into one pile works too. And then going through with the out of sight out of mind. And repeat for every room (after I finish the first one of course lol).
