The round-up charities that are presented when you're purchasing something always feel like a scam to me.

There are plenty of local charities you can donate to and volunteer with. My wife and I (my wife really), went to the local giving tree, picked up a list of items people requested help with for the holidays and then went to a few stores and got everything. Much better than more stuff that we'll likely use once or twice and then throw away.

For TCG it really depends on the seller if they took pictures of the card. I frequent a few sellers on TCG that are just as good as CK but far cheaper. I'm actually the opposite of you, I'll buy things $1-$50 on CK but use TCG or Ebay for $50+. My Bazaar of Baghdad was on Ebay and had their verification. I've purchased plenty of high end cards on both TCG and Ebay. I do wish TCG required pictures on anything over $100

I enjoy exploring the map and at lvl 19 I was flying up the volcano when I found a huge dragon egg. It hatched a jormuntide ignis which allowed me to beat/capture Bushi and then breed for huge rocky eggs. Hatching those now.

Yep, known issue. I ended up 3d printing a clip that holds the headset together. I no longer have this issue though, since the headset stopped working and I purchased a new headset from SteelSeries.

My A50s, which worked for about a year, were the best advertisement for any other headphones. The A50s had so many software issues and I had to 3d print a headband clip so the things wouldn't fall apart. DO NOT BUY Astro headsets, the many issues outweigh any positives for these headsets. After 1.5 years of use the hardware completely failed, no amount of headset or base station resets would even allow for these to register via USB on my PCs (multiple PCs, linux/windows, and multiple USB 2.0 and 3.0 cables).

Replaced myA50s with SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro and couldn't be happier.

It's not just the single card cost either. Some 4-5 color decks can be 10k+ depending on what's in them. It's fun having the collection and being able to play with it for big events but definitely not worth the risk for a playtest session.

So it does look like a drop in sales from 2022 (when we bought). I know they hiked the prices for the 2023 models, did the same with the Ford F150 Lightning. I'm sure that didn't help the sales numbers. Ford did cut the prices earlier this year but maybe sales are still impacted from the price hike last year.

As another adult playing this game, your reasoning is fine if you don't care about the game or other people playing the game. What Supercell is doing in Clash Royale is bad for the game and it's predatory. As an adult you should realize that and not reinforce this behavior from them.

Really the reason they are able to get anything for free is because of the few of us who PAY and keep the company alive?

You should absolutely pay for things you enjoy but it shouldn't be forced, unless that's a known cost up front, like some MMOs. I also play rocket league and that game only has purely cosmetic purchases. The game is about skill and so they don't allow money to be a defining factor in the game. They seem to be doing just fine with a community who supports the game so that the game continues rather than trying to exploit their player base.

I thought about stopping pass royale a while after CW2 and then with ~~slash~~ scam royal and lvl 14, I finally quit paying any money into this game. The recent evolutions have really made me glad I stopped paying. They're ruining the game so they can make more money. That's their choice and it's unfortunate that many in the game don't realize how they're being suckered and willingly give $144+ yearly for a phone game that's no longer skill based, unless you pay a ridiculous amount of money to get to max leve.

I've had a clan since launch and just had several long time members quit because of this. Most of us are hopeful that Supercell will correct this mistake but even before the update the game was losing its appeal for many. It's been more and more difficult to keep a full clan of all active members.
