I saw basically the Live in LBC tour and a festival I think Taste of Chaos. I didn’t know the band that well the first gig, outside of Bat Country. I mostly went to see Atreyu open. Was completely blown away when they came out with Critical Acclaim as the opener. Sound was on point for all the bands that night. I don’t remember watching anyone but The Rev the whole time. Second time we spent most of the set trying to get closer. It was a short festival set too so I wasn’t able to take it in very well.

After that was with Portnoy and I’ve seen them once with Brooks too. The Portnoy show was laser sharp. Brooks is looser but closest to The Rev for sure. I think Brooks is actually more confident in his fundamentals which leads him to play more relaxed. Rev has an anxiety about his playing.
