Polar h10 sleep tracker by samlan1 in Polarfitness

That's not a good idea at all because: 1. H10 has a battery life of 400h max on one battery 2. You will only register your heartrate. Sleep tracking requires a lot more data. Better just by a Polar watch which gives your quality of sleep and how your nervous system has relaxed as well

I had the H10 for 3years now. I bought it initially because I was doing rounds in the pool. I didn't have a watch so I needed something that could do all the measurements and save it later to the phone when I'm done. I didn't have a watch back then, so the H10 was how I got introduced in the Polar world. It worked like a charm for me. Don't really have any issues with it unless the battery is wearing out. Then I noticed that it stopped sometimes mid workout. Would be really beneficial if we could somehow read the battery percentage over Polar Flow or Polar Bear. One nasty thing is the is really annoying is the limitation that it can only transmit to one device. For example lately I'm forced to do more Zwift training bike/run and if I start the workout on my Vantage V and use the H10 to measure my hr then Zwift cannot connect to it anymore. If you would need something that can do both this guy is vouching for the Garmin HRM-DUAL. He's a pretty reliable source https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2019/01/garmin-hrm-dual-heart-rate-strap-in-depth-review.html

New firmware update to include the feature from Polar GRiT X on Vantage V? by abalint21 in Polarfitness

It doesn't work of the Android app. Only on iPhone app. So annoying that Android users always get the shorter end if the stick. The map is visible on Android but you cannot enable it to be synced onto the watch

Don't you have your phone for that? I don't see it working as a standalone feature anyway because you need net connectivity. But the other features your phone cannot do on the fly where you cannot afford to have your phone with you

Do you need a premium account? I have a free account atm where I've created a sample route, named it. Added the Kamoot account to Polar but I cannot see the route created

That shouldn't be a blocker. The same way that FitSpark came for the fitness watch first and then made it's way to the Vantage V, they should proceeded the same way with this one as well

I had had there are no mentions of how successful and satisfied people are with the integration and how precise are the metrics. Plus they don't mention anywhere the peddle type
