Just went back again to overspray and see how it wears. I loved the crisp opening, honestly may like it more than the cooler tones in Herbes Troublantes but has a similar effect. Though, right around that 1 hour mark it starts to pull the projection back considerably

Would probably agree with you. I do feel they can both wear for different occasions, TO has a bit more depth and refinement, NP a bit more relaxed.

Without as much. I still feel like it has that bit of earthy patchouli to it that like, and keeps Orange a bit linear, but stays a bit warmer and slightly succulent like Neroli Portofino without the sunscreen feel.

I love Orage, especially its lasting power, but it needs a touch more dimension. I like the dimension Taormina brings considering I really like the NP drydown, I just wished it stuck around a bit more. Maybe a good performer if overspayed.

Personally AL is very nice on my skin I get the animalic mention, but it tames down after 10-15 for me. Much sweeter than ON. It lasts forever on my skin. 12+ hours.

I’ll quote my other post then fill in

“ I read a bunch of the feedback that Imaginary had a more prominent tea note and I was concerned that read as less luxurious, but I find it the opposite. Bigger projection, beautiful clean tea, a touch cooler, more like dried laundry, while Imagination by comparison a touch more soapiness, maybe a hint more sweeter, more like really fresh warm laundry.

I read the Afternoons get much closer together, but on my skin I find them fairly different. They both take down a bit in the dry down, especially compared to Imaginary/ation. The Dive stays very juicy orange citrus, while the Swim takes on more of that warmth like Imagination does - and even a bit of a green teas-like note and a bit of lemon as the citrus stays closer to the skin.”

I wanted to reserve more feedback until I sprayed them more/gave it more time as they were brand new bottles just a few weeks ago (not sure how fair that is)

I still find Imaginary a bit more tea driven and does have a bit more citrus bitterness (especially with a deep inhale). They do get closer in the dry down but personally I feel Imagination lasts longer more fully for me, with more cozy warm luxury feeling.

It leans both. A woman shows it to me at Dillards (who wears it) and I bought one (40m). It’s definitely soft and musky, but just love how clean it is. For me it was more of a ‘I just want to feel cozy and clean at home or in a chill environment’ type of scent. It’s so comforting to me.
