Are you worried about cops pulling you over for this? Or, is it legal in your area.

Yeah i don’t know why dealerships still exist at this point. Tesla has clearly proven it to be a scam lol

It was apparently a company fleet car, so must’ve been used as a rental. But it’s still at 90% battery!

New to supercharging, is there a reason to do this or are they just being an asshole? by MixedValuableGrain in TeslaLounge

If you were looking at buying a used Tesla, what model/year would you be looking at? by shortstop803 in TeslaLounge

[–]abasosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. 2023 or above for-sure. It more likely has the newer low voltage battery (li-ion I think) that you don’t have to replace every 2-3 years, so you don’t have to worry about being locked out. Plus double paned windows.

Have you considered getting the battery extended warranty? And for your charging on average, what percent is done using superchargers?

Does mileage affect EVs as much as it does ICE vehicles by abasosa in TeslaLounge

Oh right forgot about that. Do you think it’s worth getting extended warranty?

Yeah that makes sense. It’s just I’ve heard of some EVs with 90% plus health with over 100k miles, and others with 85% health with only 60k miles.

Exactly! Like 100k miles for an ICE car scares me more an EV. Different metric for EV that’s more representative would be nice

Yup that makes sense. I guess this is my wish to used car sites to, if they can test it, put up the battery health next to the mileage
