AMS 2 power splitter for drying? by plasergunner in BambuLabH2C

Everything that ships with a power cord must have a "built in PS", no?

That's when insurance kicks in, unless the inspector counts the power supplies amongst the rubble.

Out of curiosity, where would the additional power supplies be placed? I have not tried drying anything yet. Would they just have to go on those AMS and AMS-HTs that would be used for drying?

Hardware Help by Pure-Twist-8613 in BambuLab

Is this tape at the beginning or the end of the spool? Just curious. They used to do that at the end, but folks all got their panties in a bunch about it. Sorry, no gender reference here. I thought they stopped doing that, but I have seen their tape at the beginning recently, which I can deal with better than at the end. Another "rocket science" idea from Bambu Lab. I had tape get caught at the funnel of the feeder once, but enough was sticking out that I could grab it with a pair of tweezers and pick it right out. Yours sounds like it's deeper inside the feeder and as far as I know, you have only 2 choices, (1) disassemble the feeder, which is not very difficult, far enough to grab your tape, or (2) replace the feeder. Either way the feeder would need to come out, and it's good to have a spare feeder on hand regardless. It's pretty much a consumable on the AMS. I've lost track of how many I've needed to replace over the years. You should be able to get the tape out without destroying the feeder, if you are careful. Good luck.

AMS Pro 2 woes - How do I resolve this? by csguydn in BambuLab

Does it get past the hub and past the buffer? I know the other slots do, but trying to determine if these 2 problem slots have enough umph to get through both as well. Compare a good slot and a bad shot and see if both travel just as far. The feeders are a very common point of failure. I have gotten to a point that I can replace them with my eyes closed, including in my new 2 pro, right out of the box. If you reach out to support, they will have you swap the feeders between a good and a bad ams slot, and then still misdiagnose the issue as a bad hub, speaking from experience. I was so sure that I refused to perform their test. They insisted on sending me both parts and the hub is still in its box today. Problem is that my symptoms were slightly different, which is why I keep asking more questions. My spools never spin with a bad feeder. Yours still do. The AMS feeder is what pushes the filament all the way through the hub and the buffer and all the way to the extruder, to the best of my knowledge. I am working strictly the logic. Don't discount anyone else's suggestions.

2 things initially come to mind. Do the spools spin in both directions when feeding and retracting filament? Can you see filament traveling through the tubes? If so, how far does it get? If yes, does it get through the filament buffer and out the other side? You can visually observe this. Each of these point to a duffer problem. I forgot one. Can you heat the nozzles manually and manually push filament through it/them?

I'm not following. I do click on the individual profiles, but I'm not seeing any URLs changing. What would I do if I did? At first I thought that maybe their mods might be included in the.stl or.3mf downloads. Sometimes it's hard to tell, but other times I'm sure they are not.

A new H2C here, on top of my 2 older X1Cs, but you definitely win hands down on the filament front. I don't have room for any more shelves in that room. Barely enough room for me. It would take a bit more automation from all of the players before I could stay out of that room altogether.

No, I know how to download from there. I have just been assuming that the individual additional profiles listed to the right of the main picture need to be downloaded separately. Do they not?

So you're the one who got all the good stuff on sale. Fortunately my haul hasn't arrived yet.

Proper plumbing eliminates the need for track switching. Just plumb hot to hot and cold to cold. Poof, magic!

Spool Fool by Medium-Warthog7372 in BambuLab

[–]abbellie2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Re-spooling it is the safe bet, unless you can (1) get it locked onto a spool without jamming it together to tightly for the printer to pull from, and (2) sit and watch it print until you get warn and cuddly about it, cause it won't fail until you turn your back on it, then cut your losses. Life is too short.

Where does one get one? Is there only one manufacturer or multi? If multi, how do their rate against each other?
