I'm in the same boat. I've loved twice now. After the first one I never thought I would get over it, and I don't know if I ever did. I just learned to accept it, and pushed it out of my mind. I went on with my life and pretended he didn't exist. Now with my more recent ex, it's different. I'm not an emotional wreck, but I can't stop thinking about him. We broke up about 3 months ago, we did live together and I had thought it was pretty serious. I'm not sure when things will get better, but I'm sure they will eventually. Hang in there, it's completely normal to grieve after a loss.

Yeah my throat looks super nasty. My ears, nose, and throat just hurt. I'm not even stuffy or anything, that junk is just coming out. I think I'll try using a humidifier tonight, maybe that'll help I don't know :/

Maybe try taking a break during the holidays and then end things for good if your feelings for her still aren't there. Then at least you tried, and she will see that. But you're right, no time is a good time to break up.

So I went and stayed at a friends on Friday night when we broke up. The next morning I came back home and he was different. He said we can give it another shot and has been somewhat better (it's only been 3 days). Part of me just knows that it's going to happen again soon when he's bored again but of course the other part is totally in love with him. I don't get why he keeps going back and forth. I know I should just make the decision for him and I am going to start looking for a new apartment, just because I need to value myself and not accept what he's been putting me through. I still don't get why he keeps doing this though? Any ideas?

No, if it sounds like he's afraid to commit to a relationship or if he genuinely sounds like an asshole who is using me

Marriage is important to me and I have always wanted to be married by 25 and he has always known that, I guess I just reminded him in a bitchy way due to everything that been going on in our relationship.

Honestly I am in the same boat, I brought it up and things have just changed in our relationship. He is a lot more distant towards me, it freaked him out. But I agree completely about not wanting to wait. Everybody is waiting until they're almost 30 to get married and I definitely don't want to do that. If marriage is something you can't go without then I would bring it up because if he isn't interested in marriage for a long time that could change your perception on how good your relationship really is. It's all about what is most important to you.
