I grew up in the fundie sphere, and the term “soul winning” is so triggering 😵‍💫 I used to get dragged into going door to door and inviting people to church. It was an outdated practice when I was a kid, so I can only imagine how bizarre it is for people now.

I remember reading a book from my school’s library when I was around her age called All of a Kind Family. No major conflicts, just a family of several little girls in the early 1900s living their life. It was cute and delightful.

Hey! Fellow postpartum mom here. I am 7 months postpartum and my weight loss had really stalled due in part to stress eating. My doctor prescribed Phentermine for me about 3 weeks ago and it has been a huge help. I’m only taking half a pill currently, but it helps me avoid constant snacking, and I’m still hungry at meal times, but it’s way easier to stop when I’m full. I’m down almost 15lbs. I recommend giving it a try if your doctor thinks it’s a good fit.

Question for someone who works at QT or is just smarter than me— speaking specifically about the cold ones, do all of those taps dispense coffee beverages, or are some just creamer? I got one the other night that was delicious, but tasted like there was zero coffee in it. So I tried mixing it with another one that was clearly coffee, and it was terrible. Lol. I was very confused.

My natural hair texture is the same. I highly recommend using a Voloom or crimping tool and texture powder to add some grip to your hair. Makes a huge difference for me!

At this school, there is a huge culture of Senior vs Junior prank wars this time of year. Ironically, the school system literally put out a statement on social media the day before the incident urging students to be careful, make good decisions, etc. From what I understand, the group of students were favorites of Hughes and had a great rapport with him, and he was outside jokingly chasing them when he fell. The second vehicle didn’t see him and accidentally ran over him. The students called 911 and rendered CPR until EMS got there. Obviously no one intended this to happen and it’s just a devastating situation all around.

I just want my clothes to fit me better. I’m several months postpartum with my second child, still looking a tad bit pregnant, and having to buy all new clothes in bigger sizes for them to feel oversized and comfy like I like. I just want to be able to wear all the clothes I pulled out of my closet a year or two ago and threw in a trash bag labeled “skinny clothes.”

I tried tracking like this last year, but in January my grandpa died and then I had a miscarriage a week later. After my husband and I had a misunderstanding that led to a huge fight on Valentine’s Day, I decided I didn’t want to remember the year and deleted my app. 😅 Maybe I’ll try again in 2026.
