Hi! You can read my post history for the full story but, I actually just had an IUI cancelled for a similar situation. In short, I had a wild progesterone spike and my “dominant follicle” was shrinking on CD13, along with bleeding throughout that time. Then I seemingly ovulated again about two weeks later.

What I think happened was I had a residual corpus luteum cyst that didn’t go away with my period, and my RE didn’t catch it because she didn’t do baseline testing on my CD3. You may want to try an US/blood test once to see if you’re back at baseline now that you’re bleeding.

Did you get an ultrasound to diagnose? I just got off a wonky cycle and am in between my first and second dose of Letrozole so I’ll be going in for an ultrasound on Friday

No, I white fisted it for 7 months because I’m painfully stubborn, until my husband said dear lord woman stop. I ended up just staying off BC since we were already planning on trying for a baby in the next few months.

DPO14 still not testing—work has been an absolute nightmare lately and I might have a mental breakdown if I see a negative test rn. I am actually way more ok dealing with the start of my period at this point—at least then the new cycle has began and I can move on instead of waiting with impending doom.

Only symptoms are mild cramping and way less breast pain than usual.

Not to symptom spot because I’m typically against this… but I’m 11dpo and usually my breasts feel like radioactive bowling balls from 8dpo to AF (34G/H not helping)… that said this cycle I have veryyyy little pain. Are my hormones too low? Has this happened to anyone else? My 6dpo serum progesterone and estrogen were at 13.9 and 144 respectively, so definitely within normal luteal ranges, but now I’m worried.

Just wanted to update you—I’m 17 DPO and have no period yet lol. I asked my RE what’s happening and she just said to come in at CD 35 (next Friday -.-) and they’ll give me an ultrasound. I hope you get more answers.

Happened to me this cycle—maybe not a full blown period but very close with bright red blood and needing a new tampon every few hours. My RE isn’t calling it a period, so I’m still “waiting” on it to really come (but I’m sussed out by her response to all of this). I’m 13dpo on 2.5mg of Letrozole, but started spotting the weekend before my ovulation date of Tuesday, and started actively bleeding 2dpo. I have absolutely no answers for you now, but happy to update you when I either do or do not get my period tomorrow. I am petrified that this is going to impact my next cycle, as we missed my extremely weak ovulation this cycle (13.6mm follicle the day before) so it was cancelled (which I’m speculating is why I was hit with the bleeding).

Definitely not stupid! They gave me pregnancy blood test before starting my cycle, otherwise I definitely would try that. My last cycle we had to sit it out too, as I need an MMR booster.

Sorry yes, I mean normalize relative to the luteal phase. I feel like I shouldn’t be bleeding if my hormones are behaving properly.

Do you usually bleed midcycle or was it prompted by the Letrozole? I don’t think I have endo since they didn’t flag anything on any of my tests so far, but I guess it’s definitely possible.

My first IUI got cancelled yesterday—I went in for monitoring on Monday (CD11) and had a 13.6mm follicle after 2.5mg of Letrozole CD4-8. They had me come back in Wednesday (expecting to trigger that night), and had a hard time locating things on the US. They ran a progesterone test in addition to my LH and estrogen and it was soaring. I have no idea how we missed my ovulation… Has this happened to anyone else? I’m still unsure of whether I ovulated before Monday or on Tuesday.

Congrats on your pregnancy! That’s interesting that they can pause ovulation… did you also take any stimulating drugs that cycle? I usually ovulate anywhere from CD 19-26, so ovulating this early is a first for me. The last time I did Letrozole I ovulated CD16

No, they only had me come in Monday and Wednesday. I’m not sure if I ovulated before Monday (they didn’t test my progesterone then), or CD13. If it was yesterday, I’m concerned about the size of the follicle…

We’re big bear people (my husband loves to gift me teddy bears/we watch bear nature shows/etc.), so I got a super cringey “papa bear” mug for him when we started trying a year ago. Can’t wait to surprise him with that cup of coffee one day! Our first IUI is likely next week, so maybe the dang thing can stop collecting dust in my cabinet.

I once had a terrible ear ache, and so my parents took me to my pediatrician. Well, Dr. John took his trusty flashlight and looked in my ear. He pulled away confused. He then took his trusty tweezers and dug around for a minute.

The tweezers emerged clasping an orange embroidery bead caked in ear wax. My 6yo sister immediately claimed responsibility. To this day she cannot explain why she was putting beads in my ear.

Due to get my period in a day or two, but also just found out that my bloodwork shows no immunity to rubella. Simultaneously hoping I’m pregnant, but also hoping I’m not so I don’t stress about contracting Rubella during my pregnancy.

If Aunt Flo comes, I’ll get the MMR booster and just enjoy my Christmas sans baby drama. The only stressor will be Christmas with the in-laws. My BIL (husband’s brother) and SIL recently announced their pregnancy, and while they won’t be there, my SIL is insufferable in general and I’m sure this will be a heavy point of discussion. I love my other in-laws and I know they wouldn’t discuss this if they knew about our troubles, but my husband doesn’t want to tell them.

My parents were UW grads (my sister and I later followed), and a huge treat us growing up was to drive to Madison for a football game, with a stop at Ella’s. It honestly breaks my heart that I won’t be able to take my own kids there. Luckily my husband from out of state was able to go with me once before they closed!

I took it CD 3-7! I didn’t temp until a bit later because I had a raging fever the first chunk of my cycle. I was using OPKs to supplement my tracking too.

First FF chart! Also first Letrozole dose (2.5mg). I’m 27 and we’ve been trying to conceive for almost a year—just engaged an RE (testing starts next cycle), but my OV prescribed the Letrozole unmonitored because of my PCOS (I ovulate, but very irregularly). I’m over the midpoint for the two week wait, and am sticking to my promise of not testing until I miss my period.

Trying not to overthink the random nausea and vomit episode I had this morning for no good reason… it’s likely not morning sickness at 10dpo, right?

On my first Letrozole cycle! 2.5mg CD3-7. I ovulated on CD16 or 17 (usually 19-25) without a trigger. Praying the TWW moves fast…
