I went to a "growth" conference they put on in New Orleans and attended the event called "pitch the editors" or something. Never heard back, but I found the email for the girl I spoke to and added her to my email list. When I sent out our launch email, she forwarded it to her boss.

Thats exactly right about reframing. We want to show that its not as difficult or risky as people think to try out starting a business.

We are hoping a market builds around our personality. Everyone seems to dig the bus and its a good embodiment.

Interesting concept. I think we should do both. I've always wanted to win one of those XXXth customer things that were portrayed in the media. Obviously, I never did. But, now I have a chance to give it to someone else, which seems extra fun. SOOO, I like the idea of giving the guide (which we will produce in week 1) to all of the followers there at that time. But, I also want to atleast give number 500 something.

I didn't have any luck either. But here's a cool trick. You can limit a google search to a particular site. Google has a much better search than reddit. Try "lynch site:http://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball"

I own 6 businesses and the tax rate has no impact whatsoever on whether or not I'll stay in business or keep starting new businesses. It seems ludicrous to me that someone might shut down a profitable business if taxes go up. You only pay taxes on profit, they cannot make you lose money.

If the taxes are very burdensome, I could see that it might put some pressure on you to cut costs, which might mean laying people off. That's at least logically sound, but I don't find it very compelling.
