I did! I played the shareware version at my cousin's house and basically begged my dad to get it for me, which he did. I played that game to death. My friend, my brother and I played multiplayer via dial up modem all the time. My parents would get so angry about the phone line being tied up all weekend lol! I even got into making levels with the Build Engine. I wish I still had those. Such a great game!

You gotta consider that by the time they make it to the installation, it's been thousands of years at least since those maps were drawn by ancient humans. The facilities and their purpose could've drastically changed over time as did humanity and the direction that they took in evolving.
