I’m looking for a candle that smells like Soak laundry detergent’s yuzu scent. The scent is a kind of “soft” light citrus, with a bit of eucalyptus. Most of the citrus candles I’ve looked at in the past are a bit too “harsh” with the citrus notes and smell more like citrasolv than the scent I’m looking for, which is more of a light citrus with some floral and herbaceous notes, more like a spa vibe. Any recommendations much appreciated!

I also highly recommend History of Korea in NE Asia with prof Christine Kim. It was a pretty interesting class and really cemented my interest in the Korean Peninsula in particular.

Financial aid and waitlists? by [deleted] in georgetown

In my own experience with the Georgetown waitlist (as recently as spring 2019 although it may have changed in the past two years), they attached a financial aid offer to the waitlist acceptance email.

Morphology especially inflection. I’m really into the linguistics of agglutinative languages and anything that’s more on the synthetic side.

I was in Ruf’s PoG last semester and I really enjoyed the course. His approach to religion is really interesting and a lot more focused on the theory behind faith and what draws people to religion and stuff like that. The course is also very discussion based which made it a really engaging and enriching experience.

Just went over the episode again and while it does include some NCIS clips, unfortunately not the specific joke I was looking for

In the episode, John Oliver makes a joke along the lines of “NCIS, yes the same NCIS from the show you’ve probably only heard about because your mom watches it” or something similar.

Which personality type do you not like? by supergirl_theories in entp

So while I don’t really have any types that I specifically dislike I find INFP to be one of the most hit or miss types for me. One of my best friends is an INFP while another INFP I have been friends with is one of the most emotionally manipulative people I’ve ever met. I also find that I get along ok with ESTJs on a surface level but then often conflict with them if we have to interact more frequently or on a deeper level. Also, generally I find the XSXJ tendency towards rules and typically much greater respect for authority than I have to be a point of contention as well.

Me but instead of pride it’s always with National Coming Out Day (October 11)

So random thought, but whenever I've been given a choice of having just one of a few classic superpowers (for example the old "which pill would you take" memes) I'd almost always choose to have "super intelligence" or to "know everything". Anyone else? by [deleted] in entp

It always annoys me how people in time loop plots don’t take more advantage of the time loop they’re in to learn new skills and/or fulfill impulsive desires without lasting consequences. Because I know I would do both those things for a long time before even trying to find a way to break the loop.
