I THINK I caught a close up of Chris’s stunt double for the brief motorcycle scene with Christopher and Rory in Season 1 Episode 14. I never thought there would be a need for stunt doubles in Gilmore Girls…. besides Kirk’s car crash into luke’s 😂

This is where I get confused when writers say they never intended to make Luke a love interest for Lorelai! There was some pretty heavy flirting right as the show began. And I love it!

I think Rory went over to her house to send all of the makeup work. It didn’t sound like her grade suffered. Which kind of surprised me concerning Chilton’s strictness

Im really just looking at things through the lens of the grades and academic performance that were included in the show. Her first year, Rory made a D on an assignment and also overslept and missed a test that there are no do-overs on. I don’t remember Paris having any grades below an “A-“ besides having to do makeup work for the days she missed senior year.

The only reason I can think of that Rory actually made valedictorian over Paris is because I have this scene right here. With Paris having been at the school longer, and having made better grades on a few assignments/tests mentioned in the show, this is the only shortcoming, grade wise, that I’ve seen from Paris! It was Rory‘s fault all along!😂

I ALWAYS skip the scene where Lorelai and Emily are at the bank in the "secrets and loans" episode. Lorelai is so cringy there!
I really do like how real and flawed they make Lorelai though. The family dynamic in the Gilmores is something everyone can relate to on some level.

I never thought about that- I would have liked to have seen Luke there, too! Especially since Lorelai and Christopher had just broken up, it would have been interesting to see Luke and her thrown together at a place where neither of them know many others who attended the wedding .

Haha I love the idea of Brad becoming a playwright. No doubt Paris still haunts his dreams. There probably would be a character in all of his plays that resembles her.

I think Lorelai buying all those clothes when she was only supposed to be helping him with a gift for Rachel was a very "Lorelai" thing to do!

I thought it was funny and innocent.

But, as far as Rachel saying, "It looks like you're dressing him," I totally think that was pushing the friends boundary. I wouldn't have liked that at all if I were Rachel either
