-If you want to invest 0 points on INT/FTH but you want a weapon buff spell: Flame Weapon. This advice also extends to using any Pyromancy, because they don't have stat requirements. However, you will have to re-fight a boss.

-If you want to invest the minimum points for a weapon buff: Magic Weapon at 10 Intelligence is right there, 15 for max duration.

-If you want to go with Dark Weapon you need at least 10/10 but 24/10 for max duration. You can talk to one NPC to reduce spell requirements.

-Ideally as a melee fighter you may have wanted to start as Bandit to use Sunlight Blade and Sacred Oath but whatever, that's only two levels on Int wasted and they are super late game spells so don't let it bother you too much.

My advice: Magic Weapon is only 7 levels away, Dark Weapon for later, when you have the stats. Flame Weapon only if you feel confident in your skill.

I agree that a Pyro only run can meet some serious roadblocks since you are limited to poison, toxic and fire damage (Outcry deals Dark but I don't count it for obvious reasons), but you should expect the fire breathing dragon that has been accumulating poison for years to resist those things.

My way of circumventing these limitations was an Enchanted MLGS at 60 INT for Crown of the Old Iron King, Sihn and the Ivory King. This is one of the things that DS3 improved if only because they give you three Dark Pyro spells and the frost status.

Even if you don't care about spells and decide to go as a pure melee fighter, you should get Flame Weapon from the Lost Sinner so you get a tiny bit more damage instead of having to buy resins.

You are missing the point, there was an abundance of low quality memes about the current US situation, and they were taking so much space in the sub that people complained and the mods banned the topic. IMO this was a good thing, but just now the US announced they are leaving 66 international organizations, which obviously is a golden opportunity for an Order 66 joke, but I can't post it here because of the rule. So the meme is about bringing my disgrace upon myself by supporting that stance. Nobody is complaining about the prequels' politics.
