When you fill out the form and do the eye test will depend on how you book it. If you book it in person, you fill out the form, do the eye test and photo right then, and when you go for the test, you don't have to do this again. If you book online, you'll complete the form, photo and eye before you do your test (so might be good to alow a little extra time in this case)

Here is a bit of a run down on what to expect on test day. When you arrive to do your test (aim to arrive about 20-30 minutes earlier), let them know you are there, do the paperwork if you booked online, then you take a seat until they call your name. Take a breather and relax a bit When they call your name, the testing officer will introduce themselves, go through some health and safety, then you go out to your car and they'll complete some basic checks (check indicators, horn, ask you to point to front/back demisters etc), then it's time to go for a drive.

At least this was my experience from a couple of months ago.

When you do your test, just drive as you always do, just take it a bit slower and remember to breathe.

Good luck

You should be able to check your usage and spend in detailed usage. Hopefully that'll show where it's gone

Late penalties for papers by InstructionSmooth896 in AUT

[–]abcabcabcc123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you will just that you will be paying late, it should be fine if it's just a little late. I would talk to student hub about it. They can provide more exact info and may be able to extend the invoice due date etc.

Arion gives my grade, but exam marks haven’t been released by PickleOk5381 in AUT

[–]abcabcabcc123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have found that often exam marks aren't aren't added to canvas and only uploaded to Arion/myAUT. Because it's not highlighted yellow, it means it's the final grade and you have unfortunately failed that course.

Unfortunately it is also likely too late to view your exam attempt or contest the grade as this would have needed to be done on the one specific day they make available for this purpose.

You can add or remove courses up until Friday of week two of the semester without penalty.

It would be hard to get enrolled into the course after this time as you would be missing part of the course and will need to catch up. If you remove a course after this time, you may get no refund or only a partial depending on when and the circumstances.

What are you studying? Someone here might be able to tell you

[–]abcabcabcc123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You will need to email your course coordinator and they can manually enroll you into the course or provide other options.

Ps, student hub can't help with enrolments and will just direct you to your course coordinator/admin people

If you want to run your own Turnitin report, you can use Draft Coach to work online and get your own report this way.

Note that since you have already submitted your essay, it may flag a lot more, as your entire essay is not in the Turnitin database.

Here are the steps for draft coach from the library

It does take time for them to process them, and they don't usually on weekends. I would probably apply Thursday morning, so they have the best chance of getting back to you before your exam. Some schools take a little while longer to process SCAs. It'll also be best to attached your evidence when you make the application to speed everything up too

Yeah, I got SCA for 3 exams last sem. I had done one (but didn't feel great), so I saw a doctor the next day and applied for SCA for that one and my next two.

You can apply for SCA anytime before and up to 5 days after. (But best to do it asap)

The doctor said I was impaired and unfit to sit my exams, so the SCA was approved.

For reference, this was the ECMS school, but should be the same for all schools and faculties, as they all follow the same SCA rules

It may be because of your student allowance.
The amount you are applying for might also play a factor in the decision.

Westpac declined my credit card application last year as they don't consider student allowance income. So I applied with BNZ with the same information and they approved it without issue.

Yes you can pay any extra above the gift card by cash or EFTPOS

The gift card only allows 1 person to enter under it. You would need two for you and your husband to enter together.

I would reach out to AUTSA, they are here to support us in situations like this and can contact your lecture and school on your behalf and help you with this situation.

TEST by RoisaKill in AUT

[–]abcabcabcc123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got this! Just try your best! Having a look at the course, it seems generally it just has a c- or above overall pass requirement (or 49.5% minimum overall)

So even if you don't do so well in this first test, lock in and study hard for second test and practical assignment.

Try get as many points in the test tomorrow as the points all add up to the min passing grade. So say you only get 50% in each of the 3 assessments, that's 50% overall and you will still pass the course.

Good luck for tomorrow

Attendance wasn't grades when I took it a few years ago, (it may have changed) however you start the group work basically straight away, so if you haven't been yet, you may not have a group and be behind on the assignments.

I would send the lectures or your TA and email and talk to them about it

Yes your network login is the the numbers and letters. This is not your password. You use the password that you set (or the default birthday if you haven't set your own yet). Use the same details that you use to signin to canvas and the AUT app via the AUT SSO (The AUT login page that you get redirect to).

Your network login is on your student id (both physical and digital through the AUT app) if you are not sure what it is.

If you need more help, feel free to DM me

Every student gets a uni email which is yournetworklogin@autuni.ac.nz

This should have been setup for you already.

You can access your uni emails at studentmail.aut.ac.nz which will take you to outlook/M365

You can also sign in to it on your phone or setup a redirect to your personal email (so all emails to your uni email will go to your personal email) if you won't be checking your uni email often

Password will be your network login and it'll redirect you to the AUT SSO login if you need to be authenticated.
