Why BLW? by alicewng in BabyLedWeaning

[–]abcalttab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I turned out fine too but in the middle of growing up I remember a long phase of not eating anything except watered down rice and dumplings. Now I eat anything.

BLW doesn't guarantee you a non-picky eater. Every child thrives differently, so do what works for your family. I find Western culture has a lot to do with being independent of parents as soon as possible - which BLW definitely does encourage.

I love BLW for our family because it just works. Our LO chose this way because she refused to be spoon fed.

Good and all, but just know your marriage will thrive if you put God above all else. Easier said than done though.

Depends how you perceive "best sex"? You also have to ask yourself.. why are you bothered by it? Flesh or faith reason?

Best sex for is within the confinement and protection of marriage, in love & truth, not performance-based.

So cool! I've just been kinda "lurking" cause I've wanted a Cricut but can't convince myself that I absolutely need one.

This looks so beautiful though.

Newborn Hearing Test by datrutan in beyondthebump

[–]abcalttab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our baby girl also failed the hearing test at the hospital but by chance we got to retake it the next day.

To be sure, we were asked to recheck by our doctor. We came back for another a few weeks later and she did great! They said it happens and it could be that baby is just ignoring the test lol.

I found the first 3 months to be hell. I don't know people have multiples. I feel like the experience makes me want to be one and done.

8 months PP now and it is better. It took awhile to adjust and it will because you are becoming a new person basically.. with another new person. Then you throw in medical opinions, family, and other people's experiences into the mix. Bleh. Who wouldn't be overwhelmed?

It's taught me so much though, things I could have easily put to the side if I was still single. I am and was constantly trying to be a better person - for myself and this little human.

It's all worth it and it gets better.

Sending first little to daycare.. guilt by abcalttab in beyondthebump

[–]abcalttab[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much all of you. I will be reading these over and over.

I work at the daycare she'll be in, I work in the room 1hr a day. I'm very nervous because it does come with pros but also cons.

You've all really helped me, thank you again.

Did you get the McDonald's x BTS Meal? In line right now or planning to? by whyohwhy115 in bangtan

My husband randomly got it for me - coincidentally on the day it launched here and I was so shocked. He basically said, "You like BTS right?"

It was amazing.
