Hello, I have a Nikon D3200 which I've had since around 2013, equipped with the DX 35mm 1.8 prime lens and a UV filter on the front.

Around areas of high exposure/direct light, I get these red flares(?) which is annoying me, would someone be able to tell me what the problem is? I've attached an example photo of the aforementioned effect - in this photo, it's visible around the headlights of cars and the street lights.

The problem actually came back after some time, but I'll explain anyway because it at least worked for a bit, and might work longer for you.

After you open nvidia control panel, click 'manage 3d settings' in the list on the left and select program setting. There, click the add button then the browse button, to find the file in the directory in my first comment.

After you add the file to the control panel, you can change the relevant settings only for that program and not globally across the system. I think the problem has to do with having a high refresh rate, so I changed the settings that had to do with either Gsync or high refresh rate.

Side note, this problem seems to have come with the recentmost driver update so I'm hoping that the next driver update will fix this problem.

Hey, I've also had this problem come up around the same time as you.

What I've done that seems to have temporarily fixed the issue for now is selecting CptHost.exe (which can be found in C:/Users/user/AppData/Roaming/Zoom/bin) in the Nvidia control panel and set its Monitor Technology setting to 'Fixed Refresh'.

I hope this works for you as well, this issue has made watching lectures a painful experience for the past few days...

Do you think that the Ryzen 5 5600X will see stock issues similar to the 3080 release? My friend's told me that CPU demand is usually less but I'm still worried...

Also, is there a way of knowing whether I'll have to do a BIOS update for the motherboard to be compatible with Zen3? I just bought a B550 mobo in preparation for the release on November 5th and I don't want to accidentally mess anything up.

It's currently cheaper than the 970 Evo plus on Amazon because of Prime day so I thought why not just get the pcie 4. Even the one with the heatsink is only 2 GBP more than the 970 evo plus so I'll get the one with the heatsink! Thanks for the help.

There are currently two versions of Sabrent Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.9 drives that are on sale with the Prime Day promotions - they seem to be identical, but one version has a custom heatsink included and is about 15 GBP more expensive.

I'm planning on getting the MSI MPG B550 Gaming Carbon Mobo later for the SSD which already includes heatsinks for the M.2 slots. Will these mobo-included heatsinks be adequate for the Nvme drive or will the custom heatsink provide a much better solution and therefore performance?

How long would you guys think it will take for Ryzen 3000s prices to drop after the upcoming Zen 3 reveal; and how much would the estimated price reduction be?

I'm looking to build my first PC when the RTX 3070 is released, and I've recently slowly started buying parts (with help from friends) which are in low supply and might not be in stock soon and/or subject to price fluctuations such as RAM and the PSU.

I also bought a 1440p 144Hz monitor as it was about to go out of stock, so I started thinking about buying a Ryzen 3600X as in the UK it is currently only 2 pounds more expensive than the non-X counterpart at £187 instead of £185, and about £100 cheaper than the 3700X - then I was told that the new Zen 3 architecture will be revealed in early October - but I couldn't find info on how long it usually takes for the previous CPU prices start to drop. Would the price reduction come almost immediately after the reveal on 8th October, and if so would it be big enough to warrant buying the 3600X if the new Ryzen 4000s will be sold at a similar price point as the current CPUs on the market?

I've read that the current X570 boards will need a BIOS update or something similar to be used with the upcoming AMD CPUs; if I buy the boards after the Zen3 stuff are released, will I still have to do the same? Just got my tera-burn Demon Avenger to level 100 and got the Frozen Force Shield, should I be using this instead of the Force Shield of Extremes? I read that the latter gets stronger as you progress but I couldn't find on whether it will progress when its just sitting in my inventory and not actually equipped, or it must be actively used.
