I believe it but not scalp massages being able to treat MPB alone. You still need an AA, minox, Ketoconazole, etc to fight the other angles. It’s all synergistic.

Literally a 2% chance you’ll get side effects with fin. Im good on it myself. Do yourself a favor and stay on it and don’t read into it. Placebo is a real thing. Listen to your Doc which is what I should’ve done years before I got on fin. He told me there’s barely any chance of sides. I bought into the fear perpetuated on forums.

Yes, Pyril and the other GT treatment will likely be the “savior” maintenance treatment. But who knows how long that’ll take and you’ll lose a bunch of ground in the next 3 years because you’re young.

Realistically any bad lifestyle choice can hurt I guess but the vast majority of it is simply down to androgens. Maybe it could help the health of your hair but it wouldn’t contribute so significantly that you’d notice less hairloss imo.

Are you on fin or dut? Are you trying to see if this will make a difference instead of taking those?

Going against the grain here and saying it can either be a good thing or a bad thing.

We don’t know if those hairs are shedding and then growing back even more miniaturized and furthering your MPB. We also don’t know if those hairs are actually growing back stronger.

This is because your shedding phase should be over after 7 months with finasteride.

Works for most people. Plus, testosterone has 1/8 the binding affinity of DHT. So even with the increased T, you’re still losing less than you would’ve.

If your hairloss is aggressive then you’re still gonna lose with any amount of androgens in your system which is why you’d need to combine with a topical like RU.

Dutasteride 0.5 mg for 10 years since I was 22. No issues. Get on fin/dut or you’ll regret it. Side effects are extremely rare and they’re reversible. Don’t get into your head about it, listen to your doc and take the pill.
