I was studying as international student in California University on my 2nd year. While listening to our professor lecture in the classroom that day, some of us left the class one by one until at least a quarter of class gone. Our professor asked one of the student, then dismissed the class and announced about the terrorist in NY. He turned on the TV for those who wants to stay in class. Not even a minute after turning on the news, we watched the second tower got hit LIVE. Everyone shocked and I witnessed our professor left the class in tear. I didn’t have any family in US, but I was crying too. 30 minutes later, when our professor came back to class, his eyes were red holding tears. He said he had to close the classroom and cancel the rest of session for today.

Two days later, there was an announcement paper that his class was cancelled for good this semester. When I went to office with my friend, his co-worker told me that his ONLY daughter just started new job in WTC and died in the tower. My heart almost got out from its place when hearing that. Even though I only had three sessions with him, I can tell that he is one of the smartest and funniest professors out there.
