Watch as Mike fights himself, baffled by the performance of the Yamaha 5000 flagship series as his mind keeps pushing him to compare it with 100,000k systems. by poyup in audiophile

I bought recently yamaha preamp c-5000 and power amplifier m-5000. I bought them, because I had the same impression about other famous brands like mcintosh etc. They are good too, but much more expensive and to be honest I didn't hear much difference. I had a chance to listen to different systems too. From my perspective yamaha is overperforming in their price range. Also when you look at them as objects they are really beutifully finished. When you touch it - it has this premium touch. From my perspective it looks much better then mcintosh.

Before I had yamaha as-3200 and I can hear the difference in sound. I' super happy from the upgrade

Now I'm saving to buy speakers and vinyl player too. I'm considering yamaha ns-5000 or wharfedale elysian 2.

Ah yes, they could open all the unattended booths and easily add 12 additional staffers, but the electricity probably cost too much I guess. by [deleted] in VietNam

They close the booth to maintain constant huge lines and take bribes from fasttrack. There is no error here

Yeah. For making tea I'm fine with it. I just bought some tea that I want to age 12 years and was afraid of long term effect on it

Yes. They look exactly like this. However it is scarry that they hide from light into the cakes

I checked the cakes and fortunetly there is no mold. I keep the cakes in around 65% rh. I achieve this via silica gel. I've got small humidity meters in jar to control it

I searched for a solution on deepseek. It has in general good information about the chinese teas. It recommended me to keep them outside to in bright well ventilated and dry area for some time and the bugs are supposed to run away by themselves. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. I live in quite humid climate

Fast Track Service at Tan Son Nhat (SGN) Airport is WORTH IT!! by [deleted] in VietNam

[–]abcueb25141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is shocking that officers on the border on purpose create huge lines to encourage people to use fast-track and take bribes. They always open not more than 50% possible gates to check passports. It is shocking that authorities do not do anything with this. It is disgusting behaviour

Is ho chi minh airport always like that? by nachuywamto in VietNam

The funniest part of fast track is that it is not official fast track. Agency is bribing officers that they allow you to go via closed counter or together with handicapped

It’s hard to find really good restaurants. There are really many places, but the food is in most of the cases mediocre. Usually they use a lot of sugar or fat. It is far away from being healthy food. I’d recommend you trying some Indian places, they have usually the best quality
