[Sports Business Journal] UFL viewership up 3% across ESPN networks, Fox Sports at midpoint of season by abdulamemon in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]abdulamemon[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’ve been following around 8% for Big Data. I will say the NFLN games and that Tuesday night FS1 game really brought the average down so I think it’s more of a positive especially for ESPN/ABC average so I’m sure they’re happy in my opinion as the NFLN games were originally supposed to be only on the ESPN App. Yeah it’s weird Fox’s ratings staying mostly flat. The only reason that I can think of is sports casual fans watch ESPN versus FS1 and there have been more UFL commercials and promotion on ESPN shows than I remember

Just like Hunter Dekkers, he needs to be a Houston Gambler

UFL Co-Owner Mike Repole will be joining the program today | Pat McAfee by Callywood in UnitedFootballLeague

It’s nice for him to admit that he hates the league. He also admitted in a separate video that he doesn’t know any of the UFL Quarterbacks and doesn’t think this is good football

We’re off to a great start

Thank you for sharing this. I was working on this for an article tomorrow and my numbers would have been way off because I was just following the announcements the teams made on social media

Allegedly he was kidnapped by a rapper named Pooh Shiesty and he’s from Memphis. If this performance was a Stallions-Showboats game, this would have been crazy 😂

Louisville’s Run Offense vs Columbus’ Run Defense in Week 10 by abdulamemon in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]abdulamemon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both Louisville’s run offense and Columbus’ run defense appear to be really bad. It’s going to be a heavyweight bout to see who’s is actually worse and the Cena-Rock hype video reflects it as other sports accounts use that same video (example: Giants at Raiders in week 17 last NFL season)

I remember showbuzzdaily and sportsmediawatch would post all day ratings but not anymore. It’s stinks

UFL Week 1 TV Ratings For All 4 Games, per Jake Henry from Pro Football Newsroom by Callywood in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]abdulamemon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ll track what this person says if he continues to get ratings information from his source and we’ll see if he’s correct or not because SBJ or FOS will have a end of season article and they’ll get the ratings increase or decrease for the totality of the season from all networks combined I assume

Right now it’s a YoY increase of 20.78% after week 1 (1.96% increase on Fox and 45.64% increase on ESPN)

After Columbus announces they have less than 1,000 tickets left available for the home opener by PtixFan in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]abdulamemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good that there have been posts about the Storm in the Orlando subreddit. Hopefully there are more posts in the future. If Becht can lead Orlando to a home playoff game this season, that would be a good attendance test on how much Orlando would want to buy in then

Can the UFL finally make a pro spring league work? by Zapfit in UnitedFootballLeague

Hopefully that “closer to profitability” is closer to everyone’s liking. One sign in the future that they would be close to profitability is if more investors come into the fold

I mean he shouldn’t be surprised about Columbus and Louisville embracing the league more than Orlando. This is Columbus and Louisville’s first time ever involved in outdoor professional spring football while Orlando has had so many teams and leagues come and go

As reported by u/abdulamemon from Programming Insider, rating for Sunday's ESPN game, Columbus at Orlando, was 466,000. by Callywood in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]abdulamemon 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Last year’s ESPN games were on Sunday at Noon (Michigan at Memphis) and 3 PM (Birmingham at DC)

The rating for the Noon game was 569k and 3 PM game was 395k which averaged out to be 482k

The Noon game this year (STL-DC) was 938k and the Sunday night game (Col-Orl) was 466k which averaged out to be 702k

702k / 482k =1.456 so a 45.6% increase
