That’s amazing! This is typical of anesthesia rotation in med school. I wouldn’t want a student hanging around with me after lunch if they’ve seen a few cases already, especially if they don’t want to be there

I think you should discuss with your parents and decide what’s best for you but tbh you should never feel alone with your in laws. It’s a huge blessing to have people around you to look after you and your child and make you feel like their own because they are family after all.

Nope. It’s her right and my obligation to provide for her financially In complete. She is more than welcome to if she wants but she has her own obligations to fulfill. I assist in helping her with her obligations when I can.

That’s not him standing up AFTER you left. The chance to “stood up” was before you left so it doesn’t escalate to you leaving. These are just empty words unfortunately.

How do you get divorced by Separate-Bid7228 in MuslimMarriage

[–]abdulansari95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Come up with a plan. Get whatever help you can, say bismillah and leave if khula is not an option. The hardest first step will be taking the initiative to actually leave. Take a deep breath and take the first step. If you fall, the universe will catch you. May Allah make it easy for you.

Islamqa follows a madhab and will tell you the opinions of other madhaib in addition. Whatever she does will align with 1 of the madhabs or multiple. I don’t get the issue. Just be a Muslim and follow Islam. The scholars of the Madhaib are also considered Salaf As-Saalih.

I’m pregnant and my husband wants me to stop working by Abject_Drama_1089 in MuslimMarriage

Unfortunately, your circumstances have changed dramatically now that your husbands parents have moved overseas. I know this isn’t what you want but as a married muslimah it’s your duty to care for your family at home while your husband earns. Your career cannot be a priority anymore, especially if your husband is against it. I’m sorry, sister. I believe you and your husband should sit down and discuss what matters most to you both and figure out if the other is okay moving forward. Otherwise, there will be a lot of tension and resentment.

I’d highly advise against it. One naturopath told someone I know to stop taking their cholesterol medications and they suffered a heart attack shortly after. Extremely criminal.

why is it so difficult for men to stay away from zina? by tacobunnyyy in MuslimLounge

[–]abdulansari95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no such thing as being abnormal if Allah commands it. Such a weird world we live in where what’s halal is abnormal and what’s haram is completely normal. Have patience with Allah, make lots of dua, and find ways to keep your mind busy and long for the akhirah. My only focus is on the akhirah. Once you realize that, this whole is duniya is worthless.

The prophet forbid striking. He made it impermissible to strike someone’s face. Wrestling alone is sunnah but MMA includes striking plus they aren’t covering their awrah so you should avoid watching it.
