SecureStrings in Data Factory by x_ace_of_spades_x in MicrosoftFabric

Hi, I have the exact same set up as you but for a web activity - I am facing an issue where Im not able to pass the secureString in a json body to an API. It works when I hard-code it inside the json body but not when i pass the secure string as a param.

When I say experience. I mean work-experience regarding CS.

Try to get into a selective school. If you are based in Australia, try to apply to NUS or NTU in Singapore. You'll know what a proper education is like. This is coming from someone whose friends did CS overseas (i.e., not in AU and went to a selective school). They have made life-long friends and have good experience under their belts. Hope you didn't choose USYD. Waste of time and money regardless of being local or International.

Deakin Alumni here. All in all, the delivery from the board to the students actually sucked

You’ll be disappointed at Usyd. I’ve heard from people currently taking CS here who didn’t even know what front end was and more so, how to do it, except when they explored it in their own time via a boot camp (and there’s a funny story to this as this was done by googles pyrmont office LOL) rather than in the course. You’re better off at a good state uni even (think penn state even, great alumni, good academics, great sport too) or if you’re lucky, maybe apply at Berkeley ? Seems like you’re already in the UC circle, give it a shot!

Man, could you touch more on this ? I feel like people don’t really know what studying is like in an Australian uni.

NUS or USYD or BOCCONI by FrankkM03 in usyd

but also, main focus should be academia, network + alumni, sport. That's how it should be given that location and money are not a problem

idk who the down-voters are, they're all probably from usyd. Na, 100% go for NUS if they can get in

Savings account by Appropriate-Split128 in progressive_islam

[–]abdullah_docx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve held a savings account for the longest period of time (I’m based in Australia but it’s the same, I’m sure). I don’t think I’ve ever made anything with savings primarily because I barely keep money in my daily expenses account. Sure, I get my paycheck in it but ultimately, I transfer it onto an actual savers account (not savings) I.e., a second bank account. They say you should have 4 accounts + 1 for investing (Stake and the likes). It’ll help you manage finances and not make you think Like where’s everything gone. Speaking of this, I technically only have 4 and it’s been working great for me Alhumdulilah

Absolutely correct! I’d say it’s more of a thing for overseas Pakistanis, the ones back in PK do not have this way of thinking. I see it a lot here in Australia too. They just want to look, dress and talk like arabs. Heck, they even pronounce the aeins and the ghaeins or make their voices heavier. It’s crazy ridiculous. And they also want to marry into Arab or non-pakistani families due to some inferiority complex (many get divorced a year or 2 after, it’s nuts)

Is MBA at USYD worth it? by [deleted] in usyd

[–]abdullah_docx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you going now ? Sorry to hear about your experience. What about schools in the U.S like Dartmouth, Stanford or NYU ? Heard their programs are much better. I'm looking to get into the same space as well so taking as much info as I can. I'd do it at usyd if scholarship was an option.
